Is using scrapeboxin 2019 still effective or did it become an outdated tool that no longer hold value? I am thinking of purchasing it but that's my main concern
Its a subjective question, like others said it depends on your strategy. Its kind of like asking if a hammer is still an effective tool in 2019.
Well if you want to sew a dress, cook lunch or drive to the store, then no, a hammer is not effective for what you want. If you want to frame a house, yes its effective.
As an internet marketing tool scrapebox gets the name "The Swiss Army Knife of SEO" for a reason. So if you want to do SEO or internet marketing then its as effective if not more effective then ever. Even fortune 500 companies use Scrapebox.
But if you want to bomb 500,000 blog comments overnight and rank a site on page 1, those days are gone. But that never had anything to do with scrapebox that had to do with a strategy that worked at a given time.
So for what you mentioned, yes it still works great. Its got literally 10,000 uses and that just scrapes the surface. You might like some of the more then 100 videos I have on it here:

I'm annoyed with their Vanity Name Checker! 3 to 2 lakhs of checks at once hang. Talking about this many times in the report, they do not have the right solution.
But the current update of their current update would have done very well !!
I have expressed the frustration many times with these but to no avail.
Im not really sure what your saying here, I get your saying it hangs, but there is a lack of data to help you. So I would post in the sales thread with your question with as much detail as possible.

However if it hangs and you can move the window around but the count does not change, that means that something has locked the threads. It works fine for me, and I know literally thousands of people use the vanity name checker without issue. So its probably security software or 3rd party software you have thats interferring. It could be a router as well or even windows.
So you want to whitelist the entire scrapebox folder in all security software.
Then shut down any non crucial software as anything that access the interne can lock threads, anything from skype to utorrent or anything else. You could even try restarting your machine in safe mode with networking as a test.
further you can whitelist scrapebox in your router and then make sure your windows is up to date.
Great software for Windows, but sucks on Mac
Yes, its not the greatest on mac.
Part of that is because firemonkey (which is basically Delphi for mac, what scrapebox is written in) its fairly poor at their compilers as well as there is a lack of error handling so its hard to troubleshoot.
Further its compounded by the fact that mac is inconsistent. You can literally run something once and it works and run it again and it won't work, for no reason, thats just how it plays with mac.
Lastly mac is terrible at rapid error handling. If you have a bunch of errors going on, windows is quite graceful at dealing with it. If too many socket/thread type errors pile up too fast on mac it chokes and crashes Scrapebox as the solution for dealing with the errors. lol
Its getting better slowly though. As firemonkey eventually gets a working 64bit compiler released then that will help and then also if they can get a decent error logger that would be a huge help.
As for the randomness of mac working and not working on the same machine with the same code, and the choking at errors piling up, Im not sure but mac is always getting better too. Although perhaps not the best OS for massive multi threaded programs.
at any rate, the developers are always working to improve it, but are tied up by Firemonkey and mac being what they are. So hopefully in time it keeps getting better on all fronts, but yes windows is quite excellent.
