Does it give us any benefit if we are copying code from some famous sites related to our niche.

I mean i am gonna copy home page structure from one site and contact us from different from another site and make a complete site and optimize it with prope schema and content.

Would it be more effective to easily get rank ( i am talking about just On page SEO )

anyone tried this in here? i guess most of the mates in here must have tried this especially when client expects too much and pays less :)

Want to know PRO's and CON's of this method. Anyone finds a difference for a regularly developed site and site developed from above method? i am really curious to hear from you guys

Note: Please don't post Morals and taking away someone's hard work etc...kind of comments for this post

absolutely not

on-page seo optimization has to do with content, speed, the way you use meta tags, the "proximity" the keywords you use on the page.... you just copying site structure, won't do jack shit for you

feel sorry for clients who have given their work to you.....

Just make sure you place the head in the right place, the hands in the right place, the foot in the right place, etc. If you've set it all in the right place, then you don't have to be a clone of others.

my mates are bombarding me with this comments :rolleyes:o_O, i could have given a great reply not having much time right will get back to you guys in a few hours

Speed is technical SEO.

OP, this is not going to help. That "famous" site is ranking well because of many factors - sure, great structure could be one small part of it. WHy it ranks well is likely because of great content, quality links and being authority site. Simply copying its structure is unlikely to make you rank well.

No need to feel sorry for anyone, i never developed a website for anyone except me (at least by taking money), my skills are poor at web development and limited to wordpress, handling everything with the support from other members. You still don't get what i am talking about the structure like schema etc and most of them are made after testing different structures, size of specific boxe, CTA buttons or a profile pic size or effectiveness when its placed on different positions in site etc. I know content and meta tags are important, thanks for that info. When we can prepare proper relative effective content with same schema structure it would definitely effective , i still, believe that. i never mentioned i am gonna copy their content and meta keywords etc.

Thanks doctor but to give you an idea why i posted this thread is one of my site recently got site links which actually i developed through the method which i mentioned above and it doesn't even have super high backlinks except a little bit of genuine content. I was trying for the same site links for some my other sites which i am unable to get from the last 7 months. So, i got this doubt that the structure of the site might be easily recognised by big g algorithm and provided those sitelinks. Just to check if any of other members got same kind of experiences posted this.

Thanks for the details. Actually One of my site recently got sitelinks which was developed with method mentioned above. So, i was just curious if anyone really ever did this and got those kind of results.

@i am actually thinking getting sitelinks for the site is good thing. If it's a wrong and i am just exaggerating it then , sorry, i just wasted all of you guys time:smirk:@

If you mean structur here is general anatomy (such you place H1, H2, H3, etc) in the right place, yes it's a must. You can check and compare it through Moz browser plugin.

According to your comment above. In other words, page with less backlink get better result than other page with more backlink?

If yes, then I just curious too if it's the power of on page (structure that you mention above) than the power of off page (backlink).

That's right I have around 12 websites out of them only 3 got site links, and the 3rd one which i was talking definitely not having any backlinks ( except some directory listings 5-10 ). I will try the same for 2-3 more sites and check if site structure and code is the reason or something else.
