Need help in understanding keyword cost

Hello Everyone,

I have an amazon affiliate website. Some keywords are ranked in top 10, But their keyword cost is 0. some are there in top 25. They have keyword cost around 0.5. So I am not able to understand it properly. Also how keyword cost affect my site or earning?

If you’re talking about the data from keyword planner that's just advertiser bid costs for adword advertisers. Your site earnings, basing it off Amazon would depend on the type of products you’re promoting and their commission percentage. Keyword cost doesn't affect your earnings, unless your doing pay per click that is.

So if I am correct, it will matter only when I plan to buy traffic. Will it have any advantage over adsense income?

In general yes, the higher cost per click your keyword or niche is, the higher the earnings when someone clicks on the ads on your site.
