[HELP] Flippa: Buyer ask for refund after 48hours

Hi guys.

I just sold my website for $4000 on Flippa few days ago.

After 2 days he ask for refund my website with reason income of my website is not like what I tell him.

Other option: he want to give back my social account (instagram with 32k followers) for $2000. But i cant accept this offer

Now he sent me a paypal dispute ask refund $2000 (product not as describe ) and my money is on hold now. My balance paypal account is under 0 (-$279) included $400 flippa fee.

I tried to contact Flippa support, I have sent them 3 emails but after 4 days till now they didnt response me.

What should I do now? Should I accept refund money to him?

If I accept do Flippa refund me $400 fee?

If not, can my paypal account get limmit?

Flippa isn't going to refund you the success fee as it "was" a successful sale despite the post-sale disagreement. I suggest you call PayPal to discuss the nature of the sale, upload a screenshot of your listing, and provide proof of domain/website delivery.

It's an intangible sale which PayPal doesn't offer buyer protection for.

Thank for your help. Im worrying about paypal will refund money to him and he not pay back my website :((
 
This is the first time i sell my website on flippa so I dont know use escow. Now that mean i lost both money and website? :(
 
Refer to the flippa contract. Show them the Flippa TOS on refunds.

You should be good as the transaction was done through a 3rd party. Paypal was just the payment gateway.

Or was it a direct payment to you?

Not sure how flippa works

Thank you. He buy my website through Buy it now button. After he bought money sent directly to my paypal account and also flippa take 400$ fee instantly from my pp account
 
Always avoid big amounts of money transaction using PayPal, mate. Hope the problem will be solved.
 
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is very likely for you to get your money back as these type of disputes are notoriously difficult to win for a seller. I was scammed out of $2400 in two separate transactions on Flippa last year under similar circumstances. I do hope that you have different luck then mine.

As for someone saying It's an intangible sale which PayPal doesn't offer buyer protection for; it's not going to stop them from ruling it in favor of the buyer. I have been there and learnt the hard way.

in your case what is the reason buyer ask for refund? did they ask for refund after 48 hours?

Do you have any advice for me to increase the chance to win this case?

really appreciate your help

They told item not as described which was pure BS. It was somewhat around 48 hours after the sale. Sorry but I don't know how to help.

thank you buddy. my effort in more than 2 years, now I lost everything. really disappointed in FLippa and Paypal
