Tweak the image. Adjust the brightness and contrast, make sure the paper is clear white and the text on it was dark enough, I don't think they individually look every submission and check them all one by one by a personnel. I submitted a lot of unbanned request with the same photoshop image and got them all recovered. I am 100% sure that there is no person behind that that check all those submission and decide whether to reactivate the account or not, it's completely automated, and they are using Artificial Intelligence in order to comply with massive amount of reactivation request. If the photo you submit doesn't meet the criteria of the bots programmed to scan all the submission, you will get denied. Take photos on a good amount of light, and write the text IN HUGE SIZE, make sure the light is not too over expose, you can edit it if you know how to, you can use a lot of software for that, Lightroom, photoshop, etc. I'm a photoshop expert with 14 years experience(not an adobe certified, and i don't need their certifications because Im really an IT professional, and graphic shits are just one of my interest), so it's a no sweat for me to fake all the shitty requirements they ask me to do, everything in less than 5-10mins.
And based on all of my submission, you will get deny if: The photo is too small, too blurry, too dark, too bright, too much saturated like the colors aren't natural anymore and the AI will think it was edited, the paper isn't white, the written texts are too small to be recognize by Optical Character Recognition(OCR Technology), the paper is dirty, not both hands are showing holding the paper(they have hand recognition), the face isn't looking straight to the camera, the face or huge part of it is covered with hair, you are wearing cap/hat, you are wearing glasses, and the software failed to have a facial recognition, you are too far from the camera, you are too close to the camera, you tweak the image with any software editing app, and you will have a metadata of it that it was edited, all photos that i've processed have the version of photoshop i am using, make sure to clear that before uploading.
Here is one of my sample edited submission. I literally hand written the code they provided on a different piece of paper, and take a photo of it using my phone, put the image on my pc, import on photoshop, grab the characters i wrot and slap them on my base-image which I just downloaded on google, writing them will make it look natural, using any digital fonts(even if it was a handwritten fornt) was way too uniform and the OCR will notice it. So if you are editing don't do that, if you posted a pic using a printer to show the characters the chances of failing was high because a lot of inexperience photo manipulator will just slap the text like they don't even care or their skills can't handle it if it was looking way more natural or fake. Just dont use any fonts and print the details, write them down, use your hand!
They will never tell you the details why you have been denied, but it was a pure AI decision. Re-submit a new request with a more appealing, more realistic, more AI friendly photo verification, in this sample, the first one got denied, i suspect because the paper is green, and the brightness isn't really that good. The second one has been accepted and I got reactivated. If there's a person who is behind it checking things out, it's a no-brainer thing to say that it was the same photo with different paper content. But the AI isn't really that smart.
