How much do you think I should list TripPrepared.com on Flippa ?
First time using Flippa I would love your honest opinions

No value man, we're no longer in the 90s.

Domain names have 0 value in 2019.

Why have I to spend 5 figures on 1 word .com domain when it does not any benefit?

I prefer to spend 5k in seo with an handreg domain.

Domainers are detached from reality and 99% of domains listed for sale will never sell.

At least $1000 in my opinion.
Zeelance.com
It also sounds a good domain.

I was checking my suggestions I made for domain names on a site some years back. Two of the domains I suggested then are now premium domains on Godaddy. The are noifnobut.com and getresumed.com. I should have registered both but I was not that experienced that time.

I listed zeelance for sales in afternic, and waiting for the lucky one to grab it. All about waiting game here.

Can I ask why $1k and not $10k or $10?
Just to know...
Price depends on a number of factors like the price of similar domains sold. You can try with elevators online for rough idea.

Unless it's a 4-5 letter domain, forget about it. So many generic TLDs to take care of all business needs...

Hmmmm...

Listing that domain on Flippa will gain you nothing but disappointment. Why? If you go the $65.00 p/m Premium listing route, the views you get will be disappointing. If you go the $15.00 p/m Regular listing route, the views will be dismal!!!

Moreover, most savvy domain name investors, use Estibot to formulate their target price point. Estibot values that domain under $100.00.

The ONLY way to add value to that domain is to build it out; you will have a HARD TIME attempting to sell it as a naked domain anywhere. Unless you are selling it for peanuts.

Zeelance.com

This domain is also valued by Estibot as under $100.00; the same statements for the above domain name applies to this domain. Unless you build it out, it has no value on the open market.

DubaiClub, domain sales have not disappeared; those who think out the box are killing it! Today's domain name market requires and demands a Domain Name Broker who has the ability to cold call, network and CLOSE deals.

People who are buying and holding domain names WAITING for someone to bite, WILL STARVE!

Preferences, we're talking about preferences. People who understand the domain name market, prefer to buy and sell High Value Naked Domains.

Domainers are detached from reality and 99% of domains listed for sale will never sell.

This is true with an addendum; neophyte domaineers, uneducated domaineers, and domaineers who lack marketing savvy, will sell very few of their domains. BUT! Domain Name Investors who know the lay of the land WILL ALWAYS PROSPER!

If those brokers have the ability to sell girl.com (I take this as example, 4L domain, singular word, since 1995, a typical domain that domainers love) it means the potential buyer is uneducated (stupid maybe).

Or he thinks we're still in the '90s and it magially appeat at #1 in G. for search "girl". As happened in the '90s.

I guess that domain has a 6 figures price tag.

Me (and 90% of entrepreneurs) prefer to spend those 6 figures in something util to business (seo, sem, campaing, ads, marketing) NOT for a domain name.

Yes, like beer.com.

If a business think that a domain name is enough to build a successful business their destiny is bankrupt.

Like beer dot com.

Good luck with your domains.

DubaiClub,
I read what you're saying, but keep in mind, those are YOUR preferences! In terms of the 90%, I have no idea where you acquired that figure from. The Naked Domain Name Business is BRISK! It has not slowed down since 2009.

Here are some of the latest domain name sales. Pay attention to what was sold. And, by the way, almost all of these domain names were sold by brokers. Also note; in this market ANY TLD can command top dollar.

2018
Plants.com = $450k
Christian.com = $600k
Kush.com = $500k

MedicalMarijuanaIncorporated.com = $600.00
AccidentAttorneyJacksonville.com = $549.00

Go.exchange = $30k
Design.Online = $57.5k
Blockchain.ventures = $42k

Now, let's take a look at 2019 so far...

Free.games = $335k
Casinos.org = $400k
Whatever.co.uk = $20k

Even domains with dashes are getting love!

Train-Petite-Enfance-Parentalite.org = $600.00
Beauty-Love.com = $2,200.00
Ravensburger-Verlag.de = $15k

HorseRacing.net = $60k
WellWater.com = $4,050.00
FitnessWater.com = $5,150.00
FirstDate.com = $40k
OcsCannabisUpdates.com = $1,299.00
AireMailer.com = $4,500.00 (Sold on Flippa this month!)

BettingOdds.com = $$487.5k
SEObusiness.com = $2,584.00
HouseofCalm.com = $2,300.00
AccidentAttorney.com = $150k
Prometheum.com = $71,842.00
GreenCarpet.com = $36,630k

Are familiar with Mike Mann? Here is a snippet of his domain name sales report for February 2019. Notice his acquisition date as well as the price he paid for each domain!

SaaSDirect.com $19,888. Purch 8/23/11 $7
OMGJapan.com $8,000. Purch 4/21/11 $7
OriginalHemp.com $9,888. Purchased 12/20/09 $7.
IdentidadDigital.com $29,888. Purchased 8/3/09 $70.
SoftwareBuilders.com $20,000. Purchased 2/21/05 $350.
TheSuperette.com $12,000. Purch 12/22/12 $8.

I only shared a SMALL SNIPPET of what's happening in this industry; if you looked at some of the market reports, you would see some impressive numbers!

PBEFX.COM
what do you guys think? been holding onto it for years. Originally got it in 2006 for my first web design company lol. I know domain flipping is so outdated now but always think this one would be worth something.

Try to use estibot or godaddy domain evaluator to see the aprox. domain value...but if you just have registered it...i don't think it worths a lot of money.

I don't understand why there is such a big difference between the estimations of GoDaddy and Estibot. One of my domains is estimated to cost $1200 by GD while Estibot says it costs only $320.
So my question is only to the experienced sellers - which one is more accurate?

I have bought a domaine back in march after 6 month i sold it with goddady premiere listing for 300$
Fbinstantgames.com

If you were the owner of Samsung and samsung com was taken, will you build your empire on Samsung (info) ? I don't think so, .com is King and domains are like real estate not all of them of course. If you had Samsung info, guess how much traffic you will be losing to Samsung com website just because a lot of people will do the typo mistake and actually going to .com first

Fbinstantgames.com
So that was just a few days ago?

Looks like Godaddy's estimation is better... at least it was in your case.

From my experience so far in domaining, estibot and GoDaddy appraisal means nothing. I've seen someone sell domain @2k+ whereas estibot has it below $100. I've also seen a domain sold for $250 whereas it was estimated above 1k on estibot. It's all about the end user/reseller intent, how valuable the domain is to them.

I agree there are stupid buyers that help keep the industry alive, but large companies and startups that have to spend investment money, budgets, or can write it off would benefit from those domains without sacrificing much.
