Hi SweetFunny, ahh, I assumed the word replacement functionality worked in all the text files, not just the comments.txt file. It works as it should when I replaced the names, emails, etc. files with 1 entry per line. Would it be possible to extend the word replacement functionality to all the 5 categories? That would be great for faking e-mails and changing up usernames.

Hmm, I loaded a blog list of 386 blogs... the script will post mostly successful to about 6 and then the status is no longer updated... it appears to freeze after 6 - 10 postings each time I load, I've even changed the blog listing with different urls, but it still freezes after just a handful.. Any ideas why mine is failing when others can comment to several hundred at once? Do I need to supply more then 10 names and e-mails perhaps?

You can put 100,000 names or emails or URL's (sites you want backlinks for) in the file and ScrapeBox will randomly pick one to use on each comment.

There is tons of fake name/email generators online that will spit out large copy/paste lists. This is much easier for users than trying to "tokenize" an email address for instance, you would have to do this mostly by hand and require far more work to get the same volume of variations you can from a copy and paste list.

Text like articles and comments is different, programs like Power Article Rewriter are designed for this and not for emails/names.

So implementing this would require more work on your behalf.

Are you running the latest version? If you are, then please send me the files you are using something isn't right.

Downloaded most recent version, works like a charm now, I will make sure I keep up on version updates. Thanks!

Ok. I have another issue. I am doing a comment posting run and my internet connection went down for about 30 minutes. During that time, the program continued going through urls but it marked them as failed since the internet was down. Please design it so that if the internet goes down, it doesn't do this but waits until it has access to internet. So for example, if there is no internet, it checks every 30 seconds or 1 minute for net and if it finds it, it picks up where it left off. Make it also indicate that it cant post because there is no internet so the user can have some indication of what is happening. Thanks.

Yes, the very first thing on the "Help somethings broken" page says check for updates because chances are the issue your having is already fixed.

Now ScrapeBox has a check for updates feature built in, checking and downloading a new version is as simple as clicking a button in the app so it's easy (and a good idea) to stay up to date.

So far there is 2 options, you can just click "Stop" or you can let it go and export the failed URL's caused by your internet connection going down and repost to these again when your internet comes back up.

If your internet is going down often enough for this to be a big problem it seems it's something your ISP needs to fix rather than me. But i will have a think about this, thanks.

v1.1.0.1 is released, the "Remove Duplicates" function has been rewritten based on input from 'naomy' and cleaning multi-megabyte files of duplicates has been slashed from minutes to virtually instant.

No such thing as domain PR, thats why its called PAGErank - all you will get for the root domain is the PR of the index page or page it points at, not the whole site ;)

One question more question :) . The PR that ScrapeBox shows; is that the domain PR or the Page PR?

Is anyone having any luck with moveable type comment posting? My success rate is 1 per 300 - thats a lot of fails! For wordpress its much higher.

20 hours and 700 extra lines of code went in to optimizing Wordpress yesterday, so i should hope it's performing far better on Wordpress.

As i've mentioned a number of times, one by one each component of the tool is being rewritten/optimized based on feedback until each is as perfect as possible before adding any new features.

I want to buy. Is it still available and working?

Yes, it's still available for $47.

Please update to v1.1.0.3 which has just been uploaded, the Movable Type component has just been totally rewritten. I'm sure you will agree no other MT mass commenter hits blogs so fast, and so accurately as this. The new code puts the last implementation to shame.

Are there any 'how to vids' with this software?

So far there is only two basic videos:

http://www.scrapebox.com/videos/harvesting/
http://www.scrapebox.com/videos/pingmode/

There is also some docs, and ScrapeBox has tooltips on the buttons and checkboxes saying what they do plus there is default files with the download so you can see what goes where and just replace them with your own data.

I will get some better video's up soon, just at the moment tons of work is being poured in to the tool itself to make it better.

wow just tried the updated version with 50 moveable type blog comments, and it posted the lot in under 4 seconds with 38 going through - great stuff!

Thanks again sweetfunny - looks like another great update!
@thefandango - agreed, great stuff!

Thanks mate, yes about 10 comments per second and an 80% success rate that your getting corresponds with my own testing/benchmarks on the new poster. The ones that fail typically have Captcha, sites are 404, have comments closed etc and can't be helped.

I had someone with a decent connection report they are doing around 1,000 comments in 60 seconds now.

The other thing is the "Threads" setting is now redundant in the poster, ScrapeBox auto optimizes this value on the fly for the best possible performance on your machine. So no more guessing what number of threads are best, just pull the trigger.

So the threads setting will be removed once nothing relies on it, to make way for a new feature.

Ok I bought this tool and LOVE it but have a few questions.

Where do I download the documentation files?

Like the directions.

I already know how to use everything except the pr storm mode.

Like what is the point of it and why should I use it?

How will it help my adsense sites, or will it not help them at all?

What websites should I target when using pr storm/ping mode?

Hi

I am noticing that when I try to get PR for a list of URLs, it just stops after around 20 each time.

One more thing.

How do I keep from posting to the same blogs over and over?

Like if I post to blogs about toys and then in 2 days I want to post again how do I make sure I am not posting to all the same blogsd again?

I am saving all the log files but I dont want to go threough 900 urls and remove duplicates from my logs to the new list.

How can I do this?
