Hey guys/girls, just last month I decided to take up my dream of being an entrepreneur, as an 18 year old I've struggled with figuring out what I want to do, between making everyone happy(family and friends) I've just never had time to completely focus on my self and on my future, well that was until last month. I'm totally determined to work for myself and not get stuck in the so called "system". I'm not doing this because of the money of course I want to make lots but I really have passion for this, not only do I wanna make an impact with my own work but I wanna prove that at any age or any state if you do what you truly want to do you can succeed. Not a garuntee but you can! So my purpose of this thread was to see how many people realized in the past few months that they need to get there shit together and have. Also if you can leave any motivational/inspiring threads or even list of any books or anything that inspired you on your journey. Thanks before hand guys

I've been wasting time for years before and was wasting all my energy in the wrong things. Until I realised that all that things will go someday. Also, I found that I should have a goal and a purpose of life...
Then, I started setting my plans and working hard for them. I was lazy AF and I had a lot of problems in the beggining, I had a lot of negative energy and it was bringing me problems and issues...
But, after some time I started changing ly mindset thanks to a lot of things (books, influencers...). And one of the people who motivated me a lot is Muhammed Ali Klay, he is a boxer (you can see his picture in my profile pic). He was a legend by all meanings, he was working so hard for his goals... And thanks to him I started boxing and I prepared for many competitions... And I started many IM projects...
Also, I was getting some motivation from some songs like:
In addition to that, one of the most powerful things that motivated me to be an entrepreneur and to be financially successfull, it was my hard situations that I lived when I was working for 10$/week and working more than 12 hours a day.
If you was in such situation, and you got an opportunity like IM, you will be killing it! I get angry sometimes when some people are complaining about small problems and they say they can't do it... Hey man! You're the only thing that is stopping you from being what you want. Change yourself, and everything will be changed.
Want some motivation? Okay, here we go! As I said, when I was a kid I was working in bad conditions for more than 12 hours per day with no break for 10$/week. And now, I just closed a 1000$ deal today for a small SEO task, how is that? Simply, by hard+smart work.

I did not expect such a good answer, I actually can relate so much. For one that's so cool Tyson and ali are some of my idols I'm obsessed with boxing/mma that's a coincidence thank you so much for taking the time to write that I read it over like 3 times really inspiring, I was looking for a real raw answer and you provided for that you are the legend my guy joining this forum was probably the best thing I did with my journey yet lol. I still work my ass off 10 hours a day but I'm lucky to get paid a decent bit I cant imagine getting only that for 12 hour shifts, but hey it got you were you are today! I've been doing lots of reading on all the ways you can make IM possible now I'm going to make some goals for myself and when I'm ready I'll start my journey thread! You're welcome mate! You're going in the right way now, and don't stop or give up. Just work hard as much as you can, pick one method that you think will fit you (you can do your research here in the journey/money making section). Make sure that you like that method and you beleive in it (you should have something that you believe in to be able to work too much on it, if you don't believe you're doing the right thing, then you made the first step to failure).
After picking a method, stick to it no matter the problems you will face. Let's say you created an Adsense website and you will bring traffic using SEO (I did that a lot of times).
When working on a similar method, you will face a lot of problems I'm sure. But this problems will give you experience and golden knowledge. But, DON'T GIVE UP!
No matter what's the problem that you will face, just find a solution for it, ask in a thread here in BHW or PM me or whatever, just do something. In my case, when I first started adsense, I was earning less than 1$ and cannot rank for any keyword, and after getting some success by spamming fb groups... I started making about 5$/day .. And BOOM! My account got banned.
But I figured out how to fix that problem, I bought a new account. And then, I stopped working for a week, and instead, I was building a strategy and thinking why other websites in the same niche are making 1000$/day, and they never get there accounts banned. Why I can't do that. And then, I started spying on those big guys, and also I contacted some people who had more experience to get more infos...
And then I tried that for the second time, I built a good looking site, and that time I fixed all the sites problems, created good content, I was spying on competitors and trying to do better than them. And for the SEO part, I was looking for the reason why I can't rank, and I realised that I was targetting hard keywords.
So, I started getting more knowledge in SEO (now I have about 9-10 years of experience in SEO). And whenI started, I spent a lot of time learning keyword research, finally I was able to get keywords with no competition at all. And I ranked for them in few weeks and for the first time, I was making about 20$/day in passive. Also, I started a gig in a freelancing website to sell my keyword research services and these gold keywords (I made about 3K$ with this gig alone).
That was an old story, and there is a lot of other things that happened to me, but I'm just showing that the start will be very hard, but you should not give up at all, and instead, just learn how to fix that and move forward.

Took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do, IM suits my life with a young family. Like The Universe Legend said never give up, and learn from your mistakes, I honestly have learned more in the few months being here than my years in college. It is hard work but will pay off in the end. Good Luck

Thanks for sharing your journey thread, wow what a great story you've certainly had alot going on but pulled through successfully with lots of knowledge learned. Seeing stories like that make me think so much about everything it's crazy.

This is an important aspect of starting out. Pointless deciding you want to earn $5k a day from Drop shipping if you have never done drop shipping before in your life.
Rome wasn't built in a day.
My main focus now is to take in consideration what you've guys all said and create goals, this is very true I'll always keep this in mind. Also you are right Rome wasnt built in a day but it was built nevertheless great example.
