BTC Comeback?

Yeah, a bit. I study the markets a lot. I'm also very careful and I tend to only jump in when I know it's nearly a sure thing.

I wouldn't say that it will always be volatile. It will increase efficiency, not decrease. It could increase volatility in the short-term but long-term I think everything tends towards efficiency. That's just sort of the underlying nature of markets. Of course everyone should scrutinize everything they hear.

For sure - didn't the guy who made Bitcoin just "die" and take his wallet password with him?

I understand that cryptocurrency has been a wave of the future for quite some time, but it really seems like banks just want it to go away at this point.

I don't think anyone knows who Satoshi is so idk. Oh and I meant to also say before: We can predict the future with a relative degree of certainty. In technical analysis (And AI), we can forecast the market to within a margin of error. That margin of error tends to fluctuate but success can be had there. It's just hard and takes a ton of research (And development in the case of AI). I don't claim to have all the answers or be able to say "At any given point, I can predict the market." However, there are certain conditions the market finds itself in where I can say "The market has an X percent chance of doing Y." It's those conditions which make me the most money trading Bitcoin.

Aren't banks those things they used to hold currency in?

I've only ever lost money trading Crypto - but I definitely didn't have a solid equation that told me when (or when not) to buy/sell.

I just threw a few thousand at it and gave it a novice attempt; then ETH was being called "pump and dump".

Not to mention that Quadriga closed down anyways, I would have been rattled if there was ~$20k worth of ETH stuck on there.

AKA: I'm a simpleton when it comes to Crypto and I remember the good old days when I was 12 trying to mine BTC with my gaming rig

I think its going to dip back down to around 4500 before moving up again

Same experience for me. I lost a few thousand on Litecoin but I didn't give up. It took a long time to get some good methodology together. I'm not going to make a big post about it here but one good tool to use is on TradingView called MTPredictor. It has a good success rate. Also, check out the link in my forum sig. I'm trying to put together a neural network auto trader.

As long as people see cryptocurrency as a form of investment, then yes, it will continue to rise in value and fall in value.

I have a lot of thoughts about it. I know someone who used to work for Ripple. XRP is not Ripple. I don't think banks and whatnot are actually using market-priced XRP to transfer funds. This is the problem. I tend to price XRP at around 40 cents. I believe it will have a hard time sustaining any big uptrend. I could always be proven wrong but when it ran to like $2 or whatever it was, I knew it was going back to 40 cents and I shorted it.

Interesting point. If they arent using market priced XRP what are they using? I was only planning to play the game as what they are doing in the banking industry would surely mean an uptrend.

I believe they have contracts where they use either free or discounted XRP.

I think that those who have a btc need to sell a part at current prices. Leave the rest for a long time. I myself plan to do so.
