What is your Must Have Wordpress plugins?

What I have known is that too many plugins will affect load speed a lot. So few is the best. I have couple of sites and I use following.
1. Yoast SEO free version (More than enough)
2. Simple Social Icons (Social media sharing)
3. Wp Super Cashe (Free and simplicity)
4. Akismet (Anti-Spam)
5. Contact Form 7
6. Vaultpress (Security)

I'm more than happy with these plugins. Please note, my sites are blogs. Not ecommerce site.

Yup. This is me :)

Actually, it still makes your website slower. Even it seems optimizing your images, it makes your images load from a (very slow -- because it's public & free) third-party server.

If you do not need a live images optimization, I mean if you have a static website you don't add new content every day, it's best to use offline image optimization tools.

yes it really make my site slower, sometimes when i update my jetpack to the new version it cause my website error. i use jetpack purely to track my visitor. i have google analytics on but i'm really confused how to use it.
may i know what plugin or tools you use to track how many visitor come to your site ?

for the plugin i use is :
- 404 to homepage
- redirection
- classic editor
- lite speed cache
- velvet blue
- yoast
- really simple ssl
- jetpack

- Elementor
- Elementor Pro
- Yoast SEO
- WP Super Cache
- Vaultpress
- Akismet

this + jetpack IMO.

Optimize before you post? Use ImageOptim for Mac, there is an alternative for Windows also

I Google Analytics for that purpose. for the best speed, put your Google Analytics tag directly to your themes header.php

Well, thanks to this awesome thread I have spent all morning dicking around with my website. I watched it go from a scorein the 90's back down to the 70's and everywhere in between. I had to learn about .htaccess files on WP and how to access them, undo render blocking css and javascript and a few other nuggets.

I'm currently sitting at Page Speed score of 95% and YSlow Score of 76%. I'm stopping there... for now. I need to figure out how to do a CDN and make fewer http requests. And the "add expires headers" has been a pain the in the arse too. Many plugins say they'll handle that but none have. Of course, i'm probably configuring them wrong so...

Current Plugs:

Amazon Affiliate Link Globalizer
Anti-Spam
Autoptimize
Blue Host
Classic Editor
GTmetrix for WP
Hummingbird (made the most improvement so far)
Lazy Load by WP Rocket
Leverage Browser Caching
StatCounter (for now, nostalgia really)
REally Simple SSL
SMush
Social Icons by WPZoom
Yoast SEO

Edit: GTmetrix says I'm at 1.8ms load time

My must-have Wordpress plugin is the woo-commerce, my website is an online shop

I'm using Jetpack for it's photon feature only (Image optimized and CDN), all other features disabled. I know that installing Jetpack for that feature only might be too much but TBH I can't find any other plugins to replace it (free, automatically optimize). You guys have any recommendations?

Other plugins I install on every site are:
Cache Enabler
Either Sucuri or Wordfence
Disable XML/RPC
Yoast
wpfastest cache give you option of photon cdn along with website speed optization

With a cost, right? I don't think to pay for CDN to host static files only is a good option. Finally, I moved my lazy ass and optimized all my images offline and go with Cloudflare.
