As you may have already heard, there was a severe Windows vulnerability revealed a few hours ago.
Microsoft estimated the criticity of this exploit at 9.8 out of 10.
The issue concerns all Windows Server 2008 R2 OS and it would need to be patched at the earliest.
The exploit allows a remote attacker to execute codes, and install Programs without any user login through the Remote Desktop protocol.
In order to patch the secuirty exploit, you would just need to run and install the Windows Updates.
Or you may also install the following packages onto your VPS to permanentely fix your Windows VPS:

If you want the perfect mix of personable support, flexibility and superior knowledge then choose these guys for your hosting requirements - honestly I can't express how good Hoststage have been when it comes to web hosting. I have used at least 20 different hosting providers over the years and none of them have come near to Hoststage in terms of the support that I receive, the level of flexibility offered by the support department and the speed and power of the servers.
I have not had time to compare prices, but off the top of my head I would say they're probably not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. To be honest though, with the peace of mind that comes from having these guys looking after hosting, I wouldn't even think about the price.
