What is your Must Have Wordpress plugins?

Except for the classic editor, I would prefer having nothing. I would rather code the functionality myself than having a shitty plugin increase the load time; and kill my server ram and cpu.

I use it with NGINX.. why do you say only for apache? Are there something I'm missing about W3?
Well, Its not in general, and it is base on what I use. I have only used NGINX as a reverse proxy thats why I only put Apache. Anyways, Thanks for pointing that out.

i am using envision theme and the wordpress plugins that we are using

a3 Lazy Load
autoptimize
Simple Google reCAPTCHA
w3 total cache

Yeah man, a3 lazy load is great.

- a3 lazy load
- Yoast
- Classic editor
- Breeze (Cache plugin from Cloud ways)
- Really simple SSL
- Shortcodes ultimate
- Wordfence security

I use this for all of my sites. Great stuff!

Funny how many people seem to go for the classic editor. Wordpress really failed when changing the editor.

A lot of people are mentioning "Revolution slider". Is this a free plugin? I can't find it when searching for it.

WP Rocket
Imagify
WP AMP
Redirection
Yoast
Gravity Forms

Going to save this thread since there’s a lot of great recommendations here.
I just got Yoast and I love it!

The plugins which I use without even a second thought are-
  1. Jetpack
  2. Rankmath
  3. Akismet
  4. Ninja Forms
  5. WP Super Cache
  6. Broken Link Checker

It was suggested to me when I was having this site optimised;

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/boost-wordpress-speed-2x-speed-guaranteed.1114046/#post-11993495

After it was deactivated, load time dropped to 1 second.

Yup. This is me :)

I'm using Jetpack for it's photon feature only (Image optimized and CDN), all other features disabled. I know that installing Jetpack for that feature only might be too much but TBH I can't find any other plugins to replace it (free, automatically optimize). You guys have any recommendations?

Actually, it still makes your website slower. Even it seems optimizing your images, it makes your images load from a (very slow -- because it's public & free) third-party server.

If you do not need a live images optimization, I mean if you have a static website you don't add new content every day, it's best to use offline image optimization tools.

Thanks. I'll try to disable it to see what can be the difference. I have new content everyday that's why...
