Indian Market + Clickbank

Test out your offers and try to setup indian payments for better conversation rates. Paypal is nil here. Mobile payments are way big. Some good payment processors are there to process the mobile payments, too.
Yes, Indians trust the local payment wallets like Paytm. They'd rather pay using this than a credit card if they were to pay online.

But India is a huge market.
Really an opportunity to make big bucks.

Clickbank will definitely not be a success.

Because Indians are smart. They do not just buy any product online. It has to be from a trusted source and there needs to be good reviews about it. Why? Because they want their bang for buck. This is because the money is limited (am talking about average consumer, and the average person earns around 300$) and whatever they buy it has to be worth it.

They will think twice and thrice even four times before making a purchase online

So what your offering has to be worth it for their money.

I don't think this would work.
Indians don't usually use PayPal most of us have Rupay cards or use UPI.

So what niche are you going to target?

It's a product targeting vegetarians which is why I was thinking about the Indian market

Yes India is going online so much. Amazon is booming since it came there. Its a good time to test anything there. They mostly use debit cards, Paypal is very rare!

Payment method is not an issue as people can pay by debit card for Clickbank products.

Price may be an issue. People may not be willing to pay for products in the price range of 30-50 USD because that's a lot of money here.

I feel if the price of the product is less then $10 then it may have a better chance of success.

Also, check the prices of similar products on Amazon.in (if available) to get an idea of the prevailing prices for similar products.

Came across this post today, wondering if you tried selling Clickbank products in India and what kind of results did you see.

No, I decided to concentrate in more proven demographics for now, I may look into India again in the future though.

Products and prices that work in the US won work here.
Selling to Indian is easy, they buy things easily
BUT
- they most want easily
- they click on adds easily
- cheap products are trending

No one ever talked about BTC. Are you trying to push your post count?
Just wanted to elaborate on the the fears on Indians generally, that they don't even favour BTC in extension, they can't buy with their cc, moreso their economy is bad, before they buy an item, they must check it thoroughly.
In conclusion, clickbank won't be a good deal there

Lol so basically you just read the previous posts and made a summary of it now. Anyway...you are banned mate

Indians buy mostly physical stuff online.
I don't agree with this. People are spending a ton on Digital Stuff from Play Store, Entertainment, Memberships, Courses etc.

Sure 'EVERY' Indian wouldn't spend on these things but if 'even 1 percent' do spend online that's more than the population of some countries.
So let's not generalize without testing.

Keep in mind that clickbank (as of this time) does not support indian languages (e.g. hindi), so you'll be pitching in english.

If you are going to promote EBooks then BIG NO. I am from India and I know People's buying mentality here.

Has anyone had any experience with marketing to the Indian market with Clickbank?

Do Indians buy things online with credit cards and Paypal or do they generally use other payment methods?

Just wondering if it's worth converting some of my products into Hindi and marketing them to India?
That is very difficult, CB is in English (most Indians do not speak English). But, to get out of doubt you can try it, spend at least $ 400 on traffic and do the final test.
