Indian Market + Clickbank

Has anyone had any experience with marketing to the Indian market with Clickbank?

Do Indians buy things online with credit cards and Paypal or do they generally use other payment methods?

Just wondering if it's worth converting some of my products into Hindi and marketing them to India?

Now Indian people use online shopping too much . Its really a good sign.. They use card but not all
 
I am from India, and this thing is not going to work, you will have 0-1% conversion, Indians don't trust Amazon yet, so it's impossible for them to convince and sell from clickbank.

it's definitely worth it. if it's not a big product as average joe earns around 500$/month.
 
If it is not a physical product from Amazon or Flipkart than good luck with Indian Market.

Yes I did wonder, it seems different cultures have developed different ways to buy things online, for instance I live partly in Thailand now and it seems they will only buy through Facebook or Instagram and pay via a direct bank transfer.

I don't think I have ever seen a Thai pay with a card for anything and definitely nothing online.
 
Indians do buy online a lot but conversions vary drastically. Majority of the buying audience still prefers cash on delivery which won't be possible in your case.
But you'll reach a much wider audience for the amount you spend in western countries. I guess you'll know better only if you run a test.

I might test it anyway, the market is so big it's worth a shot I guess :)

A 1% conversion rate would be pretty good for Indian traffic I would have thought because you can buy it so cheaply.

really? i don't think so - SEA Geos convert pretty damn well (In sense of ROI) on natives/ others(idk of).

It definitely is. Walmart bought a company called flipkart that wasn't even profitable yet at a valuation $20 billion. That tells your everything. So many people are not even online yet. The numbers are only going to rise. Massive potential.

Some do I agree, like the Phillipines and Singapore but I have not heard of Thailand converting well?
 
But clickbanks not accepting any registrations from India..how do you go on about doing that?

Test out your offers and try to setup indian payments for better conversation rates. Paypal is nil here. Mobile payments are way big. Some good payment processors are there to process the mobile payments, too.

Do you mean they don't accept Indian affiliates/vendors or they don't accept payments from India?
 
I've had terrible experience with India+Clickbank. The conversion rate for India is way too less with clickbank products as compared to Tier-1

I believe that Indians like to buy things from trusted sources (through word of mouth) and that has a Cash on Delivery Option with free returns period.

Still its a huge market but you have to test it out if its for you or not mate :)

Yes agreed, I think the offer would have to be optimised with Indian payment methods so that kind of rules out using Clickbank
