[Q] How do you build your own 4g (mobile) proxy network?

Where did you find an unlimited Cricket Wireless plan for $25? I just checked their website and its $55 for unlimited.

Also is 2G speeds enough to run accounts on a bot? I have been wondering this because I can get an unliminted 2G plan for cheap but the question is, is 2G fast enough to run accounts on Jarvee etc.

2G is way to slow these days to do anything related to web traffic. On Firefox, you can simulate what an ideal 2G connection feels like browsing the interwebs.

I'm on a 'family' plan with a guy I met randomly online who happened to be a local to where I'm living.

That seems like a nice clean way of doing it. However it would be interesting to know how to scale this with multiple sim cards / dongles per 1 PC.

its more straightforward to simply purchase multiple Raspberry pi's and scale that way, but its not as elegant.

Guys, can anyone of you help me with this matter? My proxy is working locally.I port forwarded in my router. But for my home ip its working and listening port. But its not working for my dongle ip address.

I think you may be right, but considering that I can get static residential ip’s for $2 each from my isp. I may try that before trying the mobile proxy route.

You can use an nodemcu (preferably esp32) as a proxy client into a WiFi network. Would draw almost no power and can be easily inserted into a power outlet. Or build it inside a power outlet that you can stick onto an existing outlet.

Then stick that on the old one with some strong quick drying glue, make sure it's a bit bigger so it overlaps the older one good (so your wife won't complain she can see it and it looks ugly).
Of course sometimes it can happen you lose your router password and the reset button is broken. In this case you can use routersploit to get access to your router to reboot it or reset the IP. If you do it good it won't cost you more then a few bucks.

install 3proxy from github (important - last beta version)"
-

why last version and not stable? Any important changes?

I as because tutorials are based usually on stable version and i saw beta is a little different so for me it is more difficult to install correctly :(

Beta version is working nice for me.Why its so difficult for you.I can't find big differences.

I’m having an issue with the usb dongle not being recognized as ttyusb. Did you run into any of these issues?
Not actually.Upgrade your kernel and install usb modeswitch.Do not insert usb dongle when installing usb modeswitch. After installing usb modeswitch, reboot raspberrypi and insert your dongle. It will solve your problem I guess.

Is there anyone successful with this method? My proxy is working in my laptop. But not in my vps.So I port forwarded(My rpi ip address) in my router which is connected with 4g dongle .But its not working. So,Where I have to port forward ?In my 4g dongle or home router?

I solved that by installing the old version of 3proxy. But I am still not able to use 3proxy outside my VM or System.

I want to use 3proxy generated proxy to the VPS.

How can I do that?
Hi ,@adidam ,did you solve your problem? Is it working in your vps?

Russian Video showing his operation.

He uses TL-MR3020 from tp-link with Huawei E3372h

There is also a russian forum with a guide.

But small scale raspberry pi should do fine

Depends on your needs and throughput, RPi might be ok. PS, it shares USB 2.0 bridge between LAN/USB, so sum of all will be ~300mbit/s

Hey,can you please explain it a bit?How it can be done with raspberry pi?Hey I installed 3proxy in raspberrypi and using 4g dongle.I port forwarded it in my home router. But my proxy is working in my laptop, but not in my vps.

I'm actually building something similar as we speak.

What your describing is a simbank (or simbox) which connects to a GSM gateway.

https://en.antrax.mobi/products/simbox/ -- (I have no personal or business links to antrax nor have i used their products but they have a good description).

The Sim bank its self is the easy part the GSM gateways are the hard part (currently there are no 4g gsm gateways (that I'm aware of)) The trick with gsm gateways is you need to have them spread out throughtout the country(pay friends a tenner a month to plug this box into their internet) Basically the more you have the harder it is to get detected by the mobile networks.

In the system I'm designing currently (there is no plans to sell or rent it) will be using LTE cat 6 or 9 boards (Problem being is that in the UK only EE has a CAT9 network and thats only in london)
For Cat 6 boards be prepared to spend $100 per chip or for Cat 9 $200

for each gsm gatewary you will be using 5 - 10 chipsets in each and multiple gsm gateways

This may and well be trully overkill for a few instagram accounts for the ticket brokerage game it makes sence.

Did this work with you with SIM Bank??

As we’ve mentioned earlier, using a commercial IP to collect data or simply access a website can often result in the IP getting banned. Proxy providers can help us overcome this problem by offering mobile residential IPs.

Creating a vast number of mobile proxies is not easy, as we’ve discussed above. However, a proxy network can do that by working with app developers.

Basically, an app developer makes the following deal with a proxy provider. Whenever a user downloads their app, they agree to certain TOS (terms of service). They may download the app for free, but they become a peer and provide their IPs on the proxy network.

Then, the proxy network can use their device’s actual IP address as a residential or mobile proxy – depending if the device is connected to WiFi or mobile data.

It’s worth mentioning that, this is in no way harmful to the user, as the network only uses their device while it’s idle, has enough power, and is connected to the Internet.

I made a similar thread

If anyone has figured out how to implement these ideas, even not fully please contact me

Why so much people got problem with setting up Mobile Proxy's ? Get a raspberry pi connect a POWERFULL usb hub to that B*tch :p:p
plug dongle in install squid or 3proxy setup routes and squid/3proxy configuration and go! use cron combinated with bash file to rotate your proxy and gooooooooooo ! :) (check videos on youtube how to install squid! idk about videos of 3proxy.)

Don't know how to work with multiple dongles on 1 rpi? or can't find powerfull usb hub? buy more RPI and repeat! DO NOT BUY THOSE DONGLES THAT YOU HAVE TO WVDIAL / MODESWITCH will give you headache if you don't know what you are doing ;);)

my cheapest setup $5 dongle $10 unlimited data = $15 each mobile setup.
