[Q] How do you build your own 4g (mobile) proxy network?

Any particular reason using 3proxy over squid?

Man, I don't have any preference. I've not slept from last 48 hours grinding on this stupid setup. Installed OSes like 100 times. It's just not working properly. It's working locally but outside the network it is not working.

I did port-forward (my Home Broadband allows port-forwarding).
 
Multi-Linux mini-PCs with Intel CPU that supports AES-NI (around $100 each) and cellular USB stick, configure each Linux mini-PC as VPN server.

Client side (Windows, Mac, Linux) - VPN client to connect to VPN mini-PC servers.

Cost for each VPN mini-PC server: $150, plus monthly mobile subscription.

why is this better than running a raspberry-pi?
 
In additional, you can refresh the mobile IPs easily. How? In Windows/Mac/Linux PC VPN client side, you can "refresh" the mobile IP via many different methods (webmin, command line, cronjob, etc.) by rebooting the cellular USB stick directly.

This is the basic mobile IP setup. Scale up with multi-Linux mini-PC VPN servers.

Very cost effective if you can afford it.

1. How many USB Stick can we run this way with the single machine?

Since, we can use same RaspberryPi for multiple at once.

2. We use Jarvee. Jarvee allows Proxies, there is no config. for the VPN. So we need to run like 100 Proxies on the same VPS on the same program.

Generally, VPN is a program which runs for the whole system. How do we do that?
 
In my attempt to get 'bottom' to this, the source of the residential IP is still vague to me. The process to source the amount of proxies which companies are offering here in the market place and on SERP when you search "residential proxies" is not clicking in me. What kind of technologies are they using? What is the methodologies they are using. Replicating this using data center is relatively straight forward. But when you incorporate residential, I feel there is so much overhead logistics to worry about.

Recently, I got a free trial account from a company which sells residential proxies to the masses. I decided to harvest IPs addresses from where the traffic is being piped through. It was my attempt to get the sources.

They offered the service to enter the name of the city and it will be search IP address in their system and return one. I cities which I went with are Boston, Chicago, LA, Miami, Seattle, San Diego & Quincy. I also ran the script to randomly pick cities nation wide and store it.

Thing I noticed:

1) Specifically requesting for a proxy located in NYC did not work
2) the proxies are mix of actual residential connections AND Verizon/At&t
3) The IP address are static, well the ones I managed to check
4) Within a same city, the IPs begin to repeat on itself

Any seller here want to shed on they make all this work? :anyway::p

try

`cd path/to/mla-server.tar`
`tar -xf mla-server.tar -C ~/`

then do `cd` and `ls -l` and you'll see the folder mla-server/
 
Apologies if this has already been asked but has anyone addressed the issue of these being used with selenium/chrome (desktop browsing) but are mobile proxies? Does anyone know if this sets off flags?
 
you can use a powered usb adaptor, each usb dongle with create a windows connection (win 10) you just need to assign each connection a proxy server (ccproxy works). I haven`t done this but i believe its possible to use the space on the usb dongle to run the proxy server. you`ll be lucky to find a english tut on the web. good luck

So there will be an additional layer of logic to allocate which usb dongle to assign when a client tries to connect to the machine. I've seen in Squid configuration but you need to hard code the incoming IP to an outgoing IP [i.e usb dongle]. Any idea how this is done programmatically?

The next monster is scaling it to many devices...

it shouldn't, you only have to be worried by browser info leak and patterns like mouse movement and typing, but depends on the website and you can detect most of this stuff from javascript requests sent to the server.

This seems like the simplest option so far. However I can't see the option to have multiple different HTTPS proxies on the same machine on different ports through CCProxy? Anyone offer any help here? This thread is gold so far.

Currently everything is too expensive to even bother. Cheapest data only thing I could find is $15/month for 2gb data, which is just crazy. You people outside the US are damn lucky in that regard. And maybe others, but I’ll leave politics out of this topic.

I pay $25 for unlimited plan on cricket wireless. Yes, I do agree with the data plan price to be absolute nuts here. Doesn't make any sense why does it cost so much still. It is 2019 already!

So you`ll set the Network Interface up for each USB dongle port - i`ld be interested in seeing that config, the there`s the part of roting the 4G IP i guess restarting the dongle should do! (Looks promising)

Where did you find an unlimited Cricket Wireless plan for $25? I just checked their website and its $55 for unlimited.

Also is 2G speeds enough to run accounts on a bot? I have been wondering this because I can get an unliminted 2G plan for cheap but the question is, is 2G fast enough to run accounts on Jarvee etc.
