[Q] How do you build your own 4g (mobile) proxy network?

My custom mobile IP system (multi-lines) is running pretty well. Much better than data center IPs (I own several thousands IPv4 IPs and trillions of IPv6 IPs for my internal use and my private customers).

I also noticed that that if the mobile data sevices with 4G celluar connection are very close to high density location, it gets new IPs for every refresh request. Haven't see same IP in a while.

The mobile IP system is very expensive to set up...but it is valuable for reliable IP access, especially when dealing with CL, IG, FB, etc.

do you reccomend a vps?

you have to open a port on your home route otherwise won't work on a vps.
search for (router name + open port) on google and read how to do it.

I've been heavily researching on this topic for past two days to get to the bottom of how "residential proxy" are created. I'd like to give a brief rundown of my finding. Please correct me and fill in knowledge if you can.

The big player, `illuminati,i0` have their own source IPs. They have people using their VPN to which they spread their traffic around it. Basically a peer to peer VPN. They are selling the access points of people using their free VPN as residential proxies.

Another part of the puzzle is companies who don't have a popular VPN. How on earth are they selling residential proxies? Such as `icedoutproxies)`, `yourprivateproxy`, `geosurf., of sellers can be found on Google using the keyword, "residential proxy".

One theory is that they are just reselling `illuminati,` proxies. The reason for this there is common pattern around all these `third party` provider,

1) All are pricey
2) 99& of them are not static (30 mins refresh time)
3) Many hover around 40k residential block IPs
4) Most are mobile network if you trace them AT&T is popular

My theory is that with a ~40k IP pool. they must be sourcing from a common big supplier. And that supplier has access to IPs which other just don't have, peer to peer extremely popular VPN.

Now, other theories are popping up, one of them is these IPs are just part of a b@@tnet. They are literally m@@lware infected into innocent machines from where the traffic is tunneled to. I read this by two people in the forums. Insecure devices connecting to the internet such as smart TV, smart refrigerators, etc. This explanation looks placeable if you think about it.

Another 'legitimate' way is to actually pay ISP to have access to the Ips. Creating a proxy service using a RasberryPie or Intel Compute Stick with bunch of GSM connected. Now you build a set of these, send it off to home owner in your targeted city and pay them few bucks a month to have it connected in their house.

So folks there you have it. My 2cents. I've been reading bunch of forums and post by users but no has really been talking about the source of residential IPs. I did get a "taboo" topics around forums. But I'm glad this is BHW where things get exposed.

To sum it up, there is only two real ways to create residential IPs, 1) buy sim cards + any single board computer 2) do actual m@@@ware and find vulnerable IoT devices to scan and leech.

Some VPS company`s offer residential type IPS with their VPSs, you can lease a batch of Resdential IPs from your ISP, having a USB hub and dongles for 4g IPs then using a proxies program to create a userable IP in the bot is a pain. I`ve not found a easier way to do this yet!

Some VPS company`s offer residential type IPS with their VPSs, you can lease a batch of Resdential IPs from your ISP, having a USB hub and dongles for 4g IPs then using a proxies program to create a userable IP in the bot is a pain. I`ve not found a easier way to do this yet!

But that solution is not scalable. I'm limited to my personal connection only. But if you are saying, "some VPS providers provide residential IPs offered part of their package and allow you to lease them and have them tied to your account", that is something I never heard before.

This is the only "legitimate" way to do it. You create a set of dongle devices + computer board, send it off to the target location and pay the tenants few bucks a month to have it plugged into their socket!

Did you mean Hola VPN? They use the the IPs connected to their VPN service and upsell it as residential proxy. Very smart business model I must say.

In additional, you can refresh the mobile IPs easily. How? In Windows/Mac/Linux PC VPN client side, you can "refresh" the mobile IP via many different methods (webmin, command line, cronjob, etc.) by rebooting the cellular USB stick directly.

This is the basic mobile IP setup. Scale up with multi-Linux mini-PC VPN servers.

Very cost effective if you can afford it.

Where are you getting your code from? It seems it has the wrong parameter. From my limited C knowledge, it looks like `clientparameters` were entered wrongly.

I solved that by installing the old version of 3proxy. But I am still not able to use 3proxy outside my VM or System.

I want to use 3proxy generated proxy to the VPS.

Yeah, I am looking to know more because I did port-forwarding but it didn't work (My network allows port-forwarding). Check PM.
