Hi,

Email verifier is suddenly running very slow(5-6 queries/sec) or is this its speed? How can I speed it up?

I think the first time I used it had its speed around 40-50 queries/sec and after that it almost became 10x slower.

5-6/second is pretty slow. Your IP's have probably been banned for too many queries.
Get more proxies, increase time between requests, or reduce total number of threads.

is there an alternative for link checker? Scrapebox link checker far too many times stuck at the end with some threads and many days of work is wasted. Even on new vps with or without proxies, firewall off. i would be happy if export function would be available even if link checker is stuck or some auto save function for found links would be appreciated.

How large are the lists you are checking ?

- turn off firewall
- turn off AV (make sure realtime scanning is disabled too)
- whitelist scrapebox.exe, and the .exe file of the addon/plugin that has the hanging threads issue.

For the email verifier it doesn't use proxies, so its not related to your IP. However if you are using advanced checking then it can take up to 40 seconds per email. It also all depends on server loads and times of day etc...

Which windows version does your vps run? Mine is windows 10. Is windows 10 not suitable for scrapebox and GSA?

I've installed them on the desktop, but the cpu usage is so high. My vps package is: 2 Cores / 6 GB / 100 GB SSD / Dallas / Windows Server 2016

Windows 10 is fine for Scrapebox and GSA. In a perfectly ideal world I would either want windows 10 or windows 2016. I do not have any VPS/Servers that run home versions of windows, all of mine run server versions. I have 2008, 2012 and 2016 depending on the server. 2008 is less ideal, 2012 is better and 2016 is best, out of those 3, windows 10 would be closer to 2016.

However I have never run a vps with a home version of windows, but it should be just fine, Scrapebox is build in windows 10, so its as close as it gets. I don't know what GSA is built in, but I would "guess" its windows 10 as well.

AS noted above its due to locked threads which can be security software, proxies, any other program that accesses the internet (skype, utorrent, anything), a router or even windows/mac its self can lock threads.

If you go to settings >> connections timeouts and other settings >> other >> link checker min threads. Set this to something that is like 20% of your total connections. So if you are using 10 connections set this to 2. Do not set it equal to or higher then your total connections or it will cause the link checker to immediately stop as soon as you start it.

What this does is try to kill remaining threads when it gets down to this last number. Also if you consistently have like 3 threads left, then set it to 3 or 4 to make sure its enough, again making sure you dont' set it equal to or higher then the connections your using in the first place.

There is no option for increasing threads or adding more ips in the mail scraper plugin(paid) is there? I looked around and didn't find anything so I have to play with one ip only and all the domains are unique so I don't know if I needed more ips?

If all the domains are unique then you are probably better off without proxies.

Ok, so you are talking about the email verify function. In your post, you wrote just email scraper plugin, without specifying what part exactly.
The verify function cannot use proxies.
