Ask me anything about Facebook Ads 2019

Jason Hornungs, and conversions.

Thanks for the quick response. One last question should I use "lowest cost" for my bidding strategy or set a target cost. This the first time I'm running conversation campaign imo.

Lowest cost. I don't know anyone that uses target cost successfully.

Facebook Ads are as effective and powerful as ever, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I've tested CBO and have seen basically the same results, no better or worse than ad set level budgets.

Shouldn't you use the lowest cost for about a month then use target cost after receiving enough data when you know what your conversion rate is? This is how it's done with Google ads

i take your word man because i know you care about this community unlike semi guru out there from the YT!

what is the best FB ads course that you suggest we can follow to avoid major mistakes and not re-invent the wheel ..whether its paid / free

You only have 25 clicks. If 1 person purchased that would be a 4% conversion rate, which would be really, really good. So your sample size is just too small.
Thank you for your quick response, so what do you suggest to me.
keep this ad set going or modify the targeted audiences
Or kill this ad set and run new one with large audience.

how do i make $3k a month in profits using facebook ads? plz give me the exact method. ty

Has it spent anything? $0.00 or just a few cents. You could try raising it to $10 and seeing how it goes.

it appears to be working now. The spending is at $1.36 at the moment. With the target audience being so high, would that $5 be spent pretty quickly? i made 3 ad versions and left it at $5 a day for now.

Thanks again!

No, typically the only modification is done through the bid, and that's only once you're at $300-$500/day per ad set

The target audience has no bearing on how quickly it will get spent per day. That said, I start all ad sets at $10/day by default.

Hi Op, how come some ads have more impressions/reach than others? what would drive that? They are running the same target, the only thing different between these Ads below are just the picture i used (the wording is the same too).

You kinda answered your question yourself. If only the creative is different, then you can say you have find your winning creative.
Stick with it and try also different formats (slideshows, carousel, collection etc.)

Facebook's algorithm will optimize itself to find the best performing ad within an ad set. The ones that spend more are the ones Facebook has deemed 'best' based on the Objective you selected for your campaign.

Thanks, based on your experience.... is what FB deemed the best, usually the best? I would have thought the other pictures I used would have been better than the one FB picked...

Is running ads for getting Fanpage likes viable?

Yes, as long as your Campaign Objective is set to the results you are actually trying to achieve. I have had similar results to you, but Facebook algorithm has literally billions of data points on people and their actions, so I've come to trust it's judgement.

Is running ads for getting Fanpage likes viable?

It's 'viable' in the sense you can get likes for cheap. Viable in the sense that it will make you money and grow your business? No. Fan page likes are a vanity metric at best.

@Drought
my ad account recently got banned i sent an appeal and have yet to get a reply what advice can you give me so i can get up and running again, my campaigns where doing amazing i would appreciate the help

Im interested in this as well. One of my main accounts got banned for no real reason (besides having 1 friend and beeing elected to group admin of 2 groups) i didn't do shit with this account, but wanted to use it for advertising now. Got banned after i elected the account to group admin, logged in and bam it happened

I sent an appeal but they don't do anything about it since 3 weeks. Uploaded id documents but they wont unban my account. Tried to communicate with fb support but I always get the same prewritten email that I have to wait and that they get back in touch with me but these ******* don't.

Do you know of any way to contact some real people from fb that are not acting like robots?

Jason Hornung's FB Ads Profit Maximizer
I checked him out and he has testimonials from Sam Ovens and Frank Kern. I'm sold :D.

I have a question. His FB Ads Profit Maximizer course was released in Feb 2017. Is it still relevant? I keep hearing that FB changes their ad "system" frequently. It's almost 2 years when that course came out.
