So is it worth it? Yes, and it means a huge short cut to knowledge in this topic.
The book is well-referenced, with examples, making skillful use of first-person sources and examples.
What could be improved? Maybe keeping updates to Reddits terms changing all the time, but even that, OP promises to keep you updated, so it's worth it.
