Nope. No matter how hard Instagram tries, people are going to find a workaround. It might get tougher and trickier but it is here to stay.

What makes you certain? If instagram seems automation as a big enough threat or problem...they have the funds and resources to shut it down..right?

They've tried that earlier by shutting down a bunch of automation companies but couldn't stop it completely. They never can.

This is true with the shutdown of MP and instagress but even still...they have talked about rolling out AI to "detect" thrid party "actions".

I am just playing devils advocate here, I think there will always be around as well..the path might get more narrow and tricker..

But it seems strange to think a MASSIVE company like IG/FB can't crack automation if they really wanted to.

I don't think automation of any social media or anything at all on the internet can be completely broken. Service providers can only limit the degree of automation the current tech can perform with defensive scripts and algorithms, but you can't really ever 'kill' automation because at the very least one can always find a way to automate tasks as if they were 100% done by a human being.
Let's take an overly drastic example, where a social media service provider has access to everything that goes on on your end, your network/computer, task manager info, everything. Well, even then some guy will automate a custom keyboard and mouse or even a physical robot to type and click things for him.
It's an endless battle isn't it huh
