web designer trying to sell local SEO

recently I opened a thread on how to sell better by sending cold email and received a lot of help, I appreciate it.
Now I thought about selling local seo for my previous clients (two are dentists), but I do not know much about seo only the basics, although in my country there is not much competition
So I wanted to see if I'm thinking things right:

1- In KWFinder I put "Dentist in City". And I get 6 or 7 words with more than 200 searches/month, which is great. Is it okay to trust KWFinder?

2- Then I use SemRush to see the current position of my client, but the results are rather "randoms". example: in "Dental Practitioner in City" that has 480 searches/month according to KW, he appears in position 15, but semrush doesnt put it as a keyword. Do I have to show him every keyword manually?

3- Then to better position in GMB and the position of the website wanted to follow a guide, the most complete that I saw was this: onlinemediamasters. com / wordpress-local-seo /, is it ok? yeah I know that just follow a guide is maybe stupid, but I see it very complete and orderly.

4- Then I wanted to talk to my client that I will position it much better than now, at least on the first page for most of the 6 or 7 keywords, but it takes time, at least 2 or 3 months to see some result. According to KW is 18/100 "still easy".

How do you see this? I dont see the potential of SEO before registering in this forum.

I am also trying to do local SEO. I would recommend buying SEO Service from someone else and resell that service to your dentist since you don't have experience and are new to SEO.

Honestly, since you're a new seo provider, it doesn't hurt to oversell.

So in regards to thought 2: Yes you should show him multiple keywords that your client can rank for, as-well as the monthly traffic volume and competition as it will give off the impression that you know your stuff. You can call this a "SEO Report" and can use it as an incentive or free bonus.

Thought 3: Going with a guide is fine. Experience is the best teacher so you will get the hang of it. If not, you can ask fellow BHW members what to do if you're not reaching the rankings your aiming for. From my experience, GMB relies heavily on local citations and Google reviews. There's multiple places to buy both.

Thought 4: Yes that's fine as-well.

Good luck! Getting your first client is the first challenge, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine!

learning seo very hard it a lifetime study take long time to understand , only bother if you really can be bothered to learn.
