"Get a free handcrafted professional logo." Since every startup and business needs a logo 1st before they even startup and this is how I'm up selling my high-value services.

So I started off with an offer "Get a free logo" absolutely free and boosted the post for $100 for one day and landed with more than 500 requests for a free logo directly in the inbox.

The process was straight, provide with the business card as proof you own the business and also get a chance to get 7 days free trial of social media marketing.

Until now, I have made over 200 professional logos for that specific offer and more than 25 businesses signed up for different services I provide. As well as landed with the verified leads, and had to put few clients on hold since my team cannot handle more than 25 corporate at the same time.

The method also gave me access to other clients, the other freelancers were referring to make logos with a thought they might sell those logos to the businesses they manage.

That's a one time job, that made me over 200 successful digital marketing leads in one day from one location.

Give something of value, and you will receive back 10x.
People are afraid of providing services for free because they think it will take too much time and it won't get you the results. They're wrong. You just have to execute it the right way.

Congrats mate on your success!

Many businesses starts and fail, but the most successful are those who provide a free trial or free stuff. I understand, the startups always have less budget when they start so offering to help them grow up newborn baby could be beneficial to you for long term.

Ive had always bad expertience with "cheap people" (people that want stuff for free or for very little cost).
Sure its not bad to get your first reviews. But i have much better results with selling premium services for high prices.
You should give it a try.

Out of more than 500 people, i also got bad people who wanted to get stuff free especially other sellers who wanted services for free for their clients so i had to change the policy by asking the business cards so i can confirm by calling if they are real. So, that made me access to over 200 verified leads. Not all the businesses were ready to opt-in but in exchange of their information i made them the logos as promised so they can remember me. Also, i always target small business owners, CEO/Founder but not individuals. I will run my next ad for the same location as lookalike audience to check if i can get more leads.

@discoxelik

I agree. Its similar to running Groupon ads for your business.

Those cheap bastard customers will always want cheap prices.

I ran a groupon ad for a cleaning service and 99% of them had the nastiest homes and wanted it done for cheap. And some had the nerve to complain and give bad reviews, which jeopardize your reputation.

Set strong policies and stand on them, because they will try to bend them.

But it looks like you're doing that.

Great marketing strategy BTW!!

That's actually pretty smart

What are the different Services do you provide?
How much you price yhem?
Which country are you from?
Please answer if you don't mind as I want to learn from experienced people like you

Thanks for the method OP! I am gonna try this on my local businesses. Which interests did you pick?

I am thinking about doing

1 Adset - Job Titles - Owners/Founders
2 Adset - Facebook Page Admin (maybe narrow down with ''Business'' or ''Business-to-business'' interests)
3 Adset - Business Page Admin

Looking forward to your reply, thanks!

Are you from pak? Man it's a HEADACHE to deal with clients in pak. fucking cheap bastards everywhere. Majority are just so hard to communicate with. At least that was my experience.

But there are some good clients out there as well. And if one is able to generate sales to the clients, they definitely stick long term. In pak there are so many ' digital marketing agencies ' that are just complete horse shit. They don't know shit about marketing so when it comes companies that know how to generate leads and sales, there is a huge market for clients in Pakistan.

It's really a double-edged sword. Depends on the market you're in. Sometimes you get appreciated for doing something for free, and sometimes all you end up getting is abuse out of it.

Check our corporate file as we rank one of the top provider in the location as well as we do target western clients. My different corporates has over 75k clients till date. Ogilvy is everywhere, then Happa and many other top corporates in the country who only target high level clients who knows the real value of work done.

As i have mentioned, i always verify businesses first. At my location, people has so much potential and more money involved in the business. The one who knows how to trick clients are successful in any business.

Nice strategy! Giving first before taking has also proven the best way for me

Update: You should always have a strong grip for whatever you advertise and what people expect you to answer. Today, i have got an amazing eCommerce client who ships premium products "Rugs" to 55 countries and looking to expand in other locations. Today, i dialed only 3 numbers from verified leads and got all of them in the rolling list. I will share the new method soon in this thread, all my leads are converting well because i have the complete knowledge of everything, my agency provides. I don't need dictations from the workers. That's why i prefer to talk to the client directly, so we can understand each other in a good way.

My process: i don't offer packages straightaway. But i offer a complete audit of there business and competition and what are some of the goals needs to be done in the long run. If the client is a startup, i always offer the minimal package with the same premium package stuff so he can walk with me on a long run. The more he sells and make money, he can choose to upgrade package. I always meet the client with full audit, competitors, SWOT analysis and other stuff. I have a 99% conversion rate with any client due to my excellent customer service techniques.

Especially, eCommerce and Startups are good to go; as they will appreciate everything you are doing for them.

there a way thu, you can add watermarks and restrictions to be removed for cash .

free you can add adverts and banners won't be removed until upgrade

so might be free but there ways to bank.

i no loads of free apps/services with built in adverts they do a grate turnover .

I always work with the corporates and premium clients, those days have long gone when we used to run these stuff as in the contest entries. Corporates are always looking for the real value and it's a passive income. I don't use Watermarks, because we can make thousands of designs in a new way. When you're corporate yourself; you don't care if someone steal your design and download. You can still sue the company or individual if they use it ..

Talking about other scenarios, while logos are totally free to use even for commercial purposes.

Thanks for the share. It's a nice method to get leads and I might use it in the future with a little tweak.

However, there are some things that you don't take into account as expenses. I would like to ask you some questions:
You said you paid 100$ to boost your post.
  • How much would these logos cost in case you would be charging?
  • How many hours invested per each logo?
  • How much is the man/hour rate (in $$) per each logo?
  • How much revenue have you generated after that campaign?

With the given answers, we'll be able to see the real expenses and ROI from the campaign.
Thanks,
