Which basically proves that you have to try things out and most importantly 301 redirect works (in some cases).

Another confirmation as well that expired domains still carry weight (no surprise, but something google like to deny).

tl;dr

He finds expired domains with a good link profile from powerful websites usind whois tools and ahrefs, buys them and then several months later redirects them to his homepage/inner pages. There's nothing fancy or special, just domains with great links that are no longer active and can be bought for cheap.

What's your anger about, did you teach him the strategy?
Oh I see you are one of those who when they learn a few things would want to be the only ones to benefit from it.
I am not going to benefit from this because I don't have the resources to implement it but that shouldn't make me jealous or angry.

He's not the only one doing it neither is it a super secret. It worked well for him and he shared the experience to help others.

The self-proclaimed "Fortune 500 SEO" has been outing sites left and right since 2010 just to sell courses to noobs at $999 a pop.

Funnily, a co-founder of the same agency this guy (Sumit Shah) runs once posted in an interview that SEOs should not be outing strategies in the public. Go figure that out.

People like him are the reason why blackhat tactics have completely stopped working.

I don't implement that particular strategy and nor am I jealous. But some of us do have the resources to implement it and people like Glenn make sure Google closes the loophole quick.

It worked well for him and he shared the experience to help others.

Sure he did to "help others". He just wants to promote his rank tracking service rankz dot io and the SEO SaaS market is very competitive. And If you are so benevolent, please post your strategies on top marketing blogs so we all can "benefit" from it.

Google web spam team regularly monitors any updates and loopholes that allow people to game the system. Just recently, a very good SEO (not going to name him) had a lot of sites manually penalized after he discussed his strategies publicly.

Can you pm me the site? Would love ti dig more into this. I tried 301s last month with 12 tests but no luck. The best I got was like 3rd page. Which is far from 1st.

I have multiple domains in my PBN that have 300+ RD, very high TF, mostly branded anchor and very clean backlink profile. I am now thinking about taking 2-3 of them and 301 redirect them to my money page. The problem is that they werent relevant to my niche before i bought them, but they have been niche relevant for the last 3-4 years (as a PBN for me).

Is it worth it? Would you redirect them?
