I'd say not very good, but I might be wrong because I've never actually tried to promote them on Reddit.
There are several large subreddits for SEO on Reddit. Maybe you would get good results by commenting or contacting them personally.
I don't see a possibility that posts would perform well. I'm sure all the posts of such kind will be removed instantly.

You'll make posts with the method described in the book, to get results. It's almost impossible to promote affiliate links on Reddit without knowing some tricks.

The Twitter follower count would probably give the account more credibility. But I can't say how much that will influence the conversion in numbers. Probably a little.
