Am from a African country. I heard Of upwork about a week ago. So I tried Appling to the site freelancing program normally with my real name, country and phone number. Those guys brutally rejected me
So I tried using a USA VPN, Name and phone number, I was accepted instantly. After updating my profil to look professional, I stated proposing for jobs and luckily, 5 clients agreed to give me the jo which worth about $800 in total.
I had no idea that I must have to verify my identity befor I could accept a job. So I tried using some fake id's, but their fucking system is fucking smart. So I tried manually verification, their customer care are also fucking smart.
I would have just used my real name and everything if they accepted my country but they end of making thing hard for people. Well I have to keep trying cos that place is a goldmine, lots of opportunities. So any recommendations on how to outsmart those guys?
