Just because your direct link worked better than your lp doesn't always mean that you are doing something wrong. That's how some offers work. You need a lp when you are trying to sell something more expensive to the visitor. If you are doing 1 click offers or email submits or something super easy then sometimes direct links work better. Try more offers and you will see how it works out.

I'm happy with the method though, it doesn't always work, and I'm not making $1,000 per month, but it's a good way to earn a extra couple of bucks. I made around $80 in a week.

if you are making $80 a week then you can scale and make more brother.

To test the waters a bit more I'm going to put $9 on it today, which is 18,000 impressions, 4 leads minimum would be nice.

if you are not tracking placements don't invest more.
if yes, the invest more no problem, because you are not going to loose, and you are getting more data, Data is the real money not the one lead you get each 10k impressions.
so just track and invest.

seriously guys .i don't recommend to buy traffic for smart links.
the way that pros uses smart links is to monetise the remaining traffic of there campaigns.
and what i mean by this ?:
i mean that when you run big volume pop traffic campaigns for example, and you are targeting USA for example and android only, the traffic source still going to send you some traffic from desktop and from other GEOS, so what you do is you monetise the remaining traffic using smart link by creating rules in your tracking tool and redirect that traffic to the smart ink, hopefully i made it clear.

Well, Indian and Indonesian conversions doesn't pay well anywhere. Mobidea is a great CPA network and they have a lot better offers for you to promote than their smartlink.

For smartlinks, you can use Afflow/Monetizer Plus. They are one of the best!

yes that's true, this is what a visitor from the offer's GEO will see.

in the beginning you always make your bid higher so you can get traffic from good placements and bad placements as well.
and then you blacklist the bad ones.

if you are bidding too low you will not get good quality traffic and your campaign will not convert, and the reason is the placements.
it's always good to follow this and bid higher during the test, you can set the daily budget to 10USD and test.

Yep, that's one of the main problems with some CPA offers, especially the survey ones. The user gets to the end, but it just doesn't pay out. Basically ripping you off.

I'm tempted to drop $50 on this offer (which always at least gets me one lead) and hope I at least get 6 leads from the 100,000 impressions to break even, but I'm not much of a risk taker lol. Because I been investing small amounts, usually get 1 lead for every 5,000 impressions. 5,000 impressions at 0.50 CPM only costs me $2.50 and the offer pays out $9 so it's a nice little profit (usually invest $5 to get 10,000 impressions, and get 2-3 leads on a good night). If it's a consistent 1 lead per 5,000 I should at least get 20 leads ($180) but not sure if it's a gamble work taking. How do we know there even are 20 German's looking for ____.

It can be a good idea yes, but adult traffic, from my experience is not converting as well as mainstream traffic. Those horny guys are used to pops so it takes a bit more convincing.

The thing with bidding higher is that you will get higher quality traffic from most bigger networks. This is why it makes sense to try out higher bids. Especially true is it with Zeropark (I use it the most). If you bid real low like $0.001 then you will get traffic from crap sites, bots and left over traffic that nobody wanted.

@mmp, you have to know that getting Adplexity is not as lot of affiliates are thinking it is.

most of them are thinking if they bought Adplexity they will just copy successful campaigns and they will start making money.

you just get Adplexity and see what most of affiliates are doing, to get ideas and angles, that's it.

And also when you rip landing pages from there, make sure you clean them, most of them have malicious codes.

There are a lot of CPA offers that will work with popups and be profitable, the art is to find the right one.

What I meant was, I have encountered several popup ads while browsing several websites, but I never bothered to click even once. BTW I never mentioned anything about CTR, are you sure that you are wearing your glasses?
