i m planning to launch a country specific YT Channel and doing a Checklist.

Whats your "nobody knows it but it helps" thing you would tell your friends with a new youtube acccount?

For example:
Fill Meta-Tags + Filename of the Video
Captions
High Retention Views

Maybe this suggestion can help you:

- Filename of the thumbnail,
- Approved PVA YouTube account, I think it's better to go with >5y old account,
- Add tags to your channel,
- You can add links to authority website (wiki, etc...) related to your video in the description,
- Pinned comment with Call To Action,
- First 20s of the video are very important, you really have to catch the viewer and tease the video,
- Share on social network for every video (you can create it automation)
- Call to action in video with sample that show how to subscribe and turn on notification....

Yes you can but I am not sure if it help with the process, the best is to buy pre-approved monetization Youtube account.

Make content that people actually want to watch.

Seriously a lot of people put up crap and then wonder why no one is watching. Example they upload themselves playing a boring game with no commentary for 30 minutes and then wonder why the video didn't go viral.

I m not that good in Video editing and my money is kinda limited, but i ll try to compensate it with time and effort.
My first video is already going kinda ok, bought only 250 views and have 800 already with 6 top 10 rankings worldwide (short words and longtail here.

You will get better with time and practice go to some older bigger channels and find their first videos then compare them to their newer videos.
