Hi,
My name is Lucas, I'm 18 yo and I live in France (sorry for my english btw)...
I was doing great at school but I am not seeking a 9 to 5 job, so I decided to dropout high school for at least a year.
At the moment, I only make a few hundreds euros a month online, but I wish to be able to create a full income by my own and live the life I want to live.
I hope to learn and contribute to this forum, and hopefully make some real friends!

Doing well at school doesnt mean that you will be stuck in a 9 to 5 job. Im not here to change your mind but just be wary that making money in the internet is not easy and takes time as well as dedication and effort. Dropping out of school is never a good idea, people dont like school but education is vital for social progress and advancement as a civilization. We wouldnt be here today if it wasnt for the knowledge of past generations and most of them obtained this knowledge through education. College and school in general teaches you how to analyze and solve problems, more specifically, teaches you how to think.

This forum is a great place to learn all about internet marketing and the ins and out of seo. I would suggest to start reading all the pinned posts for valuable information and honestly I dont think its necessary to drop out of school to do IM.

You also have to remember that internet marketing requires constant funding and it would be advised to have a steady job or something that provides you with income. Sure there are exceptional cases that you start with 100$ (dropshipping) and scale it up and never have to worry about a job but such cases are rare and it would be wise to follow what is considered the norm.

If I want to resume my studies, I can join the business school in Geneva (Switzerland). Anyway, to integrate this school I needed professional experience in the field of marketing. And in France, the only way at my age to get such experience was by myself as an entrepreneur. I am fully aware of how difficult IM can be. I already had many failures for finally few successes.
