Since it's Blogger you don't need any HTML code and/or knowledge unless you want to do something fancy, which you don't

1. Install a one column theme ; there are lots of free ones out there
2. Delete all the stuff you don't need / want (like header, footer, images, background, menu, etc)
3. Smash your link on the page
4. Publish

I clearly would be making something with a bit of "more impact" not just copy paste a blogger template and remove everything heh but yeah ...
