Is there a way to scrape websites those contain a specific url in html?

Well if the url is present in the content, then you can scrape using engines.

But if you can't see it in the content, then you can use the page scanner. But that will just leave you with scraping for random pages and then checking them with the page scanner. but a url its easier at least, just try it in a browser.

If you get what you want in google.com then put the same thing in the keywords box and you will get the same results.

thanks - upgrading to latest version solved the problem

Great, glad it worked!

@Sweetfunny
Support gets really annoying. I am trying to transfer my license. Here is the first mail support sent me regarding transfer date.

Records show you have utilized your monthly free transfer.

ScrapeBox is a single PC license and can only be transferred once per calendar month for free to facilitate obtaining a new PC, or system reformat.

Your next free transfer is available 2nd July 2018.

After I tried to transfer today, I got the second email saying.

Wtf is going on? You say license can only be transferred once per month. But we on 2nd of July and you don't allow to transfer anyway.

I can't really say whats going on, but you won't get really anywhere here. you need to go to http://www.scrapebox.com/contact-us and be sure to choose licensing from the dropdown. They respond within 24 hours or less.

I learned everything about scrapebox from your videos. I wish you were the developer of this program. But you are unfortunately not.

I was asking this question directly to the developer.

Support is mocking me. This is the first time I get in touch with scrapebox because in the past I never needed it

It literally sucks. Two emails left unanswered. We are on 3rd of July and I am still not able to transfer my license.

As far as I remember month begins on 1st of July right, but till now still my transfer requests get rejected.

Here is what support sent me.

@Sweetfunny ScrapeBox/Link Extractor instantly crashes on Threadripper 1950x, and I just built this system to run a ton of SB instances -_-;... I sent in bug reports. I start Link Extractor and within 10 seconds it dies. Oddly, after reading the bug report, I see "External exception C000001D". Which people are claiming means an "illegal instruction". But, the 1950x has the same instruction set (for the most part -- SSE/SSE-2/SSE-3/SSSE-3/SSE4A/SSE4.1/SSE4.2, etc) as my i7-8700k (also Win7, but full chipset driver available for z370) which never has a problem. From what I understand, most "illegal instuction" errors are to do with pre-SSE4.1 processors... not brand new processors like this.

Is it a Win7 issue? Admittedly, I wanted to run Win7 on the TR, but the full chipset driver isn't available (I have no yellow marks though, all had drivers)... Or is this some sort of known issue with AMD/Ryzen processors, i.e., is there some option I need to change in UEFI?

Oddly I have multiple friends who have Ryzen CPUs and run SB no problem... and all ThreadRipper is, is essentially just 2 binned Ryzen chips put together.

If I don’t hear back by tomorrow I will likely just install Windows 10 Pro and pray that it works. I’m thinking the only 3 options have to be Windows 7 error (highly likely, from what I read - even old Win10 editions have errors with Ryzen - will install newest Win10 Pro and full chipset), UEFI setting, some AMD security thing (this is literally my first AMD build ever), or a memory error... or something in the SB code, but people run it on 16-core Xeons all the time so it seems like it should work here.

Bro why not just pay the $10? If I got that message I’d just pay it... think about it, do you really want to sit around and wait days worth of time for $10?? Is your time that worthless?

If you have right to transfer the license for free, why would you pay for it bro?

Hi. It says impossible "unable to load proxy jugdes". Could you please help with this?

Note that everything else in SB is absolutely blazing fast (haven’t tested everything, but things I have tested) on the 1950x, removing a “contains” file of many items from a list of 500,000 URLs used to take i7-3930k 4-10 seconds. The 1950x rips through it in 1 second, near instant.

But I mainly bought this CPU for link extractor, which causes it to instantly die. I read about Delphi compiling and “uOP Cache” which could have errors, I will try to disable it today. Also, I’ve heard that ASLR can cause issues with TR, I have the Windows tools to try to disable it...

I looked at the log file for hours last night trying to get a clue about what it could be. I noticed every time SB accessed “kernel32.dll” with +000b or +00b, the thread was executed properly, but when accessed with “+0b,” all threads died and the program force closes.

Please let me know what you find. I am itching to get start running SB on this server... been waiting for weeks.

Update:

- Reset RAM to stock speed/latency - Fail (Link extractor still crashes instantly)
- Disabled uOP Cache in Zen settings / UEFI - Fail
- Disabled ASLR using Microsoft EMET - Fail
- Reset UEFI to default settings - Fail
- Flash BIOS back to 1.00 - Fail
- Disable DEP on dllhost.exe - Fail

It's running for a bit longer now, but eventually crashes with the same error as always.

Guess I'm going to try installing Windows 10. No way SB isn't compatible with the best AMD processor, please tell me there's no way. I just dropped $2500 on this PC just to run Scrapebox and GSA (no problems with GSA, but it's also a lot more primitive than SB)...

If you go into your scrapebox folder \ addons \ link extractor folder. There will be a bugreport.txt

If you send that to support, thats what they need for a crash.

Uhm.. any samples for this?

No, there are no samples/trials and no refunds. But you can look at the other 972 pages of this epic sales thread for reviews and then also I have over 100 videos so you can see it in action:

Hi. It says impossible "unable to load proxy jugdes". Could you please help with this?

Try closing down scrapebox and then go into your scrapebox folder \ configuration - judge.txt

rename that judge.txt to judge.bak.txt

and then relaunch scrapebox. Does it work?

If not you could try downloading a fresh copy to a new folder on your desktop or in your documents folder. Also make sure your current scrapebox folder is running from either the desktop or documents folder, else it could be a permissions issue.

You can download scrapebox from here:

Yes, it automatically sends it to them. I tested everything and each time sent a bug report. I have Win10 Pro installing now, will report back... If this doesn't work, I may as well light $2500 on fire and burn it -_-... It would shock me if it doesn't work. I feel like it must be a chipset issue that's causing an "illegal instruction" because Windows doesn't understand, as most of the chipset is using default Win7 drivers... and the 1950x is a very advanced processor. But, if Win10 doesn't work... man, I'm screwed. I'll have to disassemble the PC, return motherboard, sell processor on ebay or ask AMD to let me return it (unlikely), then pay $2000 for an i9-7960x and a new motherboard. It would really surprise me if SB doesn't support the top-of-the-line AMD processor though... somehow I cannot believe that.

There is no information or details about SB not being compatible with AMD / TR processors, so it would've been impossible for me to know this beforehand... not to mention I have 3 friends who run it at the same amount of threads as me on Ryzen 1600 / 1700 / 1800x, no problem. But they all use Windows 10. So, let's pray that it works.

Scrapebox does seem to be working with Windows 10 & Threadripper. I didn’t test it much, but, like 5-10 minutes worth of a link extract project and it didn’t crash!

yes but last I knew when you sent the report via the automated method it came in anonymously and they only use it in general to fix issues. Not to troubleshoot issues for users. Anyway glad yo ugot it working.

Hey man,

I know they were looking to improve it, but yellow pages AU has always geo banned ips and banned ips in general really quickly. So they often ban ips not from Australia.

The Link Extractor tool has a very bad CPU usage problem (personally I think it's Windows 10, and how SB uses a different method of threading on Win7 vs Win10). Using the exact same settings as my i7-3930k 6-core, 12-thread processor. 2 instances have the Threadripper 16-core/32-threads at 100% on all cores, moving at the exact same speed as my 6-core processor did.

There is some sort of "CPU" leak that's happening with this tool, and it's really bad. You can try this yourself. Load up a Link Extractor project (Make sure you are running Windows 10). Put it on 500 threads, 30 timeout. Let it run for 30mins-1hr (with a list of 50-100k URLs), and your CPU usage will be at 100% no matter what processor you're using, or how many cores/threads you have. I've tried this on 6-core, 6-core 12-thread (i7-3930k and i7-8700k), 16-core 32-thread, and every time is the exact same result.

I can explain what happens. At the beginning of the pull, the CPU is at a reasonable level. 5% for a while (still working rapidly, pulling a ton of links, way more links than when it's at 100% CPU). Then it moves to 10% for a while, still pulling a ton of links. Then it moves to 20-30%, and from here, is where the problem starts. The actual link pulling slows down, while the CPU usage increases. After you move above 30%-40%, you'll never come back down. From here, you'll be at 100% CPU usage in a matter of ~30 minutes, even if you're using one of the best processors on the market.

For comparison, each of these processors have run on Windows 7, with the exact same settings, same threads, same hardware (besides the Threadripper which instantly crashed), and never went above 60% CPU even after hours of running.

Here you can see what I mean:
9xMqG2I

That is 16 cores, 32 threads running at 100% CPU with 2x Link Extractor sessions. Barely pulling any links at all, maybe 25% of the amount it was pulling at 5% CPU at the beginning. Now before you start blaming "oh well maybe you shouldn't run 500 threads or 2 at a time".

Again, I've tested this on 4 different processors now. The problem is dramatically worse on Windows 10 (2-3x as bad), but still exists in Windows 7 at a lesser extent. Whatever happens after ~30-1hr minutes, is the problem. It is incredibly easy to reproduce.

Also, on some systems, Link Extractor does not close out threads, as shown here:
KHO26Dq

I'm not sure if this is related to the problem. Note that all TCP/IP connections have been timed out for well over 10 minutes, but SB is unable to cancel them.
Lt43XZn

These threads never cancel. I have to ctrl+alt+delete to close the program. However it's not necessarily this that concerns me, unless it's related to the CPU usage issue.

tVrfBrD

I have sent support the exact list I used, and explained in detail the issue.

Final notes: No security software is being used. Even Windows Defender is disabled, no Antivirus, Windows firewall completely disabled, etc. My router is high security and DD-WRT, but it's irrelevant to this issue, as it's specific to Windows 10.

Please let me know if there's any way I can help solve this issue.

It worked. Thanks.

I will likely have to return this motherboard, sell the processor, and buy the i9-7960x or i9-7940x and install Windows 7 (since it has native support on Skylake-X). I was too hyped about building this PC, that on AMD's page thought the Win7 drivers included Threadripper. RIP.
