Hey, Folks. Aunt Lynn here.
I have come to BHW seeking knowledge... things they would not teach me of in college...
Seriously, I used to work at a huge university in California, and I was almost ready to retire. (Yeh, guys... you're taking to your freakin' granny! lol) ...and then, like to so many in our fine USA, it happened. I was diagnosed with breast cancer the week of my 50th birthday. Three surgeries, F*cking Hell chemo, and radiation, whick took over a year. My treatment totaled over $2,000,000.00. We all love to see those long strings of numbers, but NOT when it's in the form of a bill with our name on it. (This is, I learned, the #1 reason for a person to need to declare bankruptcy in the US. Outrageous medical costs. A whole other topic.) Suffice it to say, however, that I did lose everything I owned as a result. I tell you this, my friends, because I want you to keep that point in the back of your minds. Enjoy your lives, for sure. Date beautiful people, party, and make the rounds in your Lambo. AND, put some money aside for the future. Make sure you have health insurance. Yes, I AM your Mom giving you a lecture. Listen up, you punk. ;-)
All this to tell you that I am here to learn as much as I can from you. I need to set up some income streams that really work, on the grand scale that only the internet can provide for us.
Life is an amazing and wonderful thing, and I am extremely grateful to still be here. AND, I'm not going to live the second half of my Life (God Willing) in a lowly style. I want my own f*cking Lambo, dammit. (At least a nice Mercedes...) AND, I want my own home again. How can I be The Crazy Cat Lady, when I'm forced to rent from a landlord that only allows ONE cat?! (OK, I have three - all identical silver tabbies from the same litter, that I adopted from the SPCA. They are the Pet Boys - Manny, Moe, and Jack. As long as they don't all sit in the windows at the same time, no one knows it's not the same cat. NO ONE gets to steal my Joy.)
So, I've done the first 55 years wearing a White Hat. I'm here to tell you - Aunt Lynn is 'going rogue.'
I would also like to acquire enough knowledge to teach - (yeh, that's what I do.) others how to start their own online businesses. I think that helping other people raise themselves up out of their circumstances, and really helping them become financially successful would be the frosting on the 'I kicked Cancer's Ass' cake. Much Love to you all. Your Aunt Lynn. XXOO
