Hi guys, SEO help/ advice needed and is highly appreciated.

My background in IM: specializing in Social Media advertising ( $350 - $400profit/month selling social media services).

I recently purchased premium KWfinder membership and I managed to get some good keywords but I am still not sure whether I should go for it. I have 119 keywords in this sub-niche with a total search volume of 840 000. I checked on google trends especially and there is an upward trend (especially in USA)- checked both for the last years and the last 5 years, it look great.

The most searched keyword has an average of 40k searches/month, difficulty 30.
I have keywords of 6k searches/month with difficulty of 25-28.

I already found a free .com exact match domain for two keywords (6k searches/35 difficulty, 7k searches 36 difficulty).

This is how the list of my top 14keywords looks like:
Iyew2fh

And this is how the first page on Google for my top 40k searches keyword looks like
ABXxWJd

I was planning to start a journey here on BHW if I start this project, but I would highly appreciate your feedback on if I should proceed further and what are my chances of success. I was planning to hire a writer and write articles for my targeted keywords, and also purchase some backlinks.

I would highly appreciate your help here.

Images aren't opening.

Depends on the difficulty in terms of how you perceive the competing pages, not just on what the tools tell you.

Thanks for your feedback. Now it should be fine.

@tglr I got motivated from your thread, could you please give some advice here?

A difficult of ''30'' is not so much difficult?

I bet some of those domains are ranking with some cheap links.

A 40k keyword with 30 difficulty can still be hard to achieve. Also check out each SERP page on other tools like ahrefs, semrush, moz to better understand your competition. They might have fewer links and PA score on this particular page but their main domain may be passing a lot of juice.
Also, better and lengthier content will definitely help you..

Yeah i was thinking the same, some of my competitors have few or 0 links.thanks for your feedback

thank you for your feedback. Ill deeply check them on other platforms, and I also think that content might help me to rank as some of my competitor lack in content - 2-3 that rank in the first page have less than 500 words content on homepage , and 1 ranks with no homepage content at all. Highly appreciate your feedback

Driton how old are the websites on the first page? Are they large sites? Or other affiliate sites?

Im asking because KW tools will tell you a keyword is easy but sometimes its hard to beat because the serps are full of authority sites.

As far as content goes it really depends. For example, ecommerce sites barely have any content. If page 1 has walmart amazon etc.. And those pages have no links they are still hard to beat with affiliate sites with lots of content and links.

It's really on a case by case basis.

If you think that your business model is identical e.g. ecom vs. ecom - and if you can get more links and do a better job then go for it.

However, those high search volume keywords are usually competitive.

Finally, DA of sites on the first page is low but keep in mind MOZ has a shit crawler. Furthermore, your competition might be using hidden PBNs that dont count towards their metrics.

DeadJoe i would like to thank you for this detailed explanation and guide on how to proceed further. Websites that appear on the first page are 3-5 years old except one that is 7 y.old. The first domain has CF30 TF5 DA31 PA30, and something around 3k backlinks. The average metrics for all websites on the first page are: DA30, PA25,CF21, TF 9.4. Only one has is bit older with DA48 total domain backlinks 100k. Otherwise the average nr of domain backlinks is 1k-2k.

Most of them are eCommerce stores and they lack in content, and Im planning to work more on content as I think I can beat them that way. It is important to point out that one from competitors with an exact match domain has 1.5 external links from authority site. Thanks once more for your feedback

Driton that doesnt sound too bad. I have two questions:
1. Are you building an ecommerce store or an amazon affiliate site?
2. If the serp is full of ecomm, how come walmart amazon etc.. The big ones are missing?

I cannot reveal the reason why there are no or only few amazon links because that is a result of deep niche research. Most of them built their online stores as i think maybe the margins of selling such products are higher. Ill start a journey soon and update you with my progress.thanks

Thats good. Point i wanted to make was, if youre trying to outrank ecommerce sites with an affiliate site then you could potentially have some issues there.

When people search for that term they end up going to ecommerce sites and google has learned their preference. Hence, it is displaying those sites even if they have weak links.

This is not always the case but it is more often than not.

Kwfinder competitive score doesn't mean shit. They consider DA as a metric which most ppl think is bullshit.
I think you should use ahrefs to learn KD

Have you checked each competitor's site of the keyword manually? I cant rely only kw tools difficulty score, i found some keywords with difficulty below 30 but when i checked with other tools like seoprofiler, there are hidden pbns. Therefore i avoid this kind of keyword if i cant beat them.

Exactly, thats the reason why I prefer KWfinder as you get the first impression of whether you should go further with your analysis, or quit and check for other keywords.

You were right about seoprofiler, i got a free version of it and found out some hidden pbns, visits coming from some porn-related forums while the link was hidden under a username. do you maybe know any free hidden pbn checker?

I agree with you here and while researching the sites manually i found some hidden pbns that send a lot of traffic to those websites.
