[AMA] Banking on Instagram

Now I am a bit stuck on how CPA Landing pages interact with Ogads lockers. Let's say I chose some non-gads landing page with CTA button on it. Is it possible to set it that when the person clicks "get my XYZ now", the locker will appear on top of the landing page? Or do I have to have an extra page where the locker is hosted? It's a bit confusing. Plus, Ogads doesn't really have any landing pages for let's say the travel niche or pets niche, which means I would need to come up with my own incentive, but then it would probably just be white niche, right? Like if I want to offer a pets ebook or something, I might as well get it? Damn it was all so simple in theory, but not so much at the moment, when I have to "pull the trigger" LOL.

For me, I think Instagram Account is the first landing page for a user and the more nice and authentic it looks, the more chances increases for conversions.
After clicking link, I have tested 2 things,
1: Pre-Lander > Landing Page > Offers
2: Pre-Lander > Smart Link
My pre-lander only has one prominent button which says "Enter to Participate" something like that.

For the first option, I have seen that I was having clicks from my Pre-lander to Landing Page but not from Landing Page to Offers .
So I tried Method 2, I added a text on my Pre-lander which prepares the user whats gona happen next, Text is something like "INSTALL AN APP OR COMPLETE A SHORT SURVEY, HIT ENTER TO PROCEED" so now user knows app install or survey is coming and the process becomes a bit short which increased conversion rate for me.

Thank you for sharing this. Do you use your own domains for the pre-landers or blogger/tumblr?

are you saying that you start off from 100-300 and double it the very next day ?? Don't you get ban? what is the maximum follow number you reach with those accounts? how old accounts are those?
not many bans nope, I do max 1k followers per day, accs are 3-12 months old.
Oh, so you follow the "0 post strategy" on them? Why? Do posts increase the chance of getting banned (reposts)?
No particular reason, it's just working well for me.

how often are you posting pics on your accounts? and how are you setting up picture automation

,
I don't know, I started with 100$ and I needed results fast. So I got into CPA, then expanded into growing, promoting blogs, Adult, Selling accounts, and now next step will be e-com. However, I believe that e-commerce can be done way more effectively by simply using ads, not by promoting on own accounts. But of course I will give it a try with free traffic as well.

I have $100 budget, and will have paycheck in two-three weeks, so I'll maybe be able to have $200 budget..
Where do you suggest me to start from??
(Steps to the moment when i can put link in bio..)
That's the time I'll see if my niches are good, but there is a time in between where I just invest and work, and wait until it's safe to start monetizing..

What are the tools you suggest for the beginning (that fit the budget), number of accounts (maximum price per account)??

I can work 2 hours a day on this, so some things I can do manually, but whatever fits the budget, I'll buy tool to make it more time efficient..

I read the whole thread, there are a lot of things that are clear for me now, just havent read a lot about the beginning (you probably know how shitty it is to have small budget and don't know first couple of steps..)

Thanks for everything you gave us here!!

How did you get your clients? I run Instagram for clients too, 4 clients right now, and I got them all through cold emailing. But it's taking me a while, and almost 100-200 emails for every new client.

How do you get new clients?

Hey @gernozarus

there is a question which is quite disturbing for me.
As you know with hundreds of instagram accounts, I'll have to use multiple links/domains, I plan to use 1 domains/links per 2 instagram accounts, but I don't understand how am I going to make my landing pages unique so if instagram crawlers check my pages, they find them all different, I can not make hundreds of different landing pages, is there anyway to dodge crawlers by adding any script or something to my landing pages so I can avoid any kind of issues?

by the way how are you managing them for you hundreds of accounts.
also would you suggest weebly or wix?

Regards,
Hassy

1-3 times per day, depending on niche and account size.

A question that everyone wants to know, haha. I'd suggest you to go for people who you know are already spending money online, they will be more eager to buy from you.

my landingpage html is all the same, Instagram doesn't care... Otherwise hundreds of my accounts would be banned already...

I don't use any prelanders

@gernozarus man i had some low conversion rate using this flow, simply because currently i have tehcnical issue on building site, take a look:

Instagram>link shortener with tracker on bio>offer (meaning the offer will be done on instagram built-in browser)

if things still running shit like this, my plan is to move to my own site flow strategy, but i need to make sure which one is works best since it will take a lot of investment in time & money, also as you're not using prelander:
Instagram>raw domain link on bio>offer (this what you're currently doing on IG, some with content & some don't, right?)
or
Instagram>link shortened of our domain's site>offer

my question would be, what do you suggest?

TIA

hello,
I'm an absolute newbie, so sorry if my questions are stupid
how can you monetize an account, except sales from it and advertising?
do you buy little accounts and then run them to huge? or buy already big accounts?
thanks.

Hey Gernozarus,

I have a couple of questions. I noticed that on some accounts you do and on some you don't post any pictures. What are the differences between those accounts? Is it the way you monetize them or something else? Why would somebody follow an account without posts? And if you are building an account where you do post content. Do you immediately start posting, or after x followers? Thanks for your interesting and sincere answers!

Yea that's what I do I think (not sure if I understood you 100%)

Just test what works best. However, direct linking the offer in BIO is a big no go for me. I wouldn't recommend that.

There are so many different ways. You can sell your own stuff, other's stuff, promote apps etc... And yea, currently I am in a buying streak and buying a lot of accounts. (Between 10k-100k preferably). There is a nice opportunity to make the money back in about one month and then have a decent profit passively.

Yea it's the way I monetize them. CPA accounts don't need followers or anything, because they get banned quickly and I just want the people I follow to click my link. For better, whitehat offers, I do post photos to reach a bigger audience + even people that I didn't follow. I start posting pretty much straight away yeah.

Hey man, I'm low on budget, so for first period of time, I'll have to go for Cpa, cause it's relatively faster paying back.. But my idea is to make strong network for couple of niches, for that I need big audience and real accounts (Not spammy ones xD).. My question is, how do you send traffic to main account without the danger of getting linked by Ig and ban every small and that niche-main account??

How do You make Your own proxies to run CPA IG accounts, something to do with VPS or ?

I started on IG last year, whilst starting an e-commerce business.

I bought an account with around 50k followers, curated content myself relating to my brand and via influencer curated content, as well as paid for shoutouts, influencer marketing and all that jazz. We're almost at 100k followers after less than 1 year.

We are currently doing 100k per month in revenue on our store and I'd say a lot of that is down to the social proof we've created for our brand on IG, but most revenue generating has been from FB Ads.

I would really like to double down and focus on growing our IG account these coming months, the goal would be 300k followers by the end of 2019. My current strategy is simply the above, as well as powerlikes (which I can spend from $150-300 per month on).

Maybe we can connect on Skype or DM and disucss, as I also planned to open an agency this year - relating to IG, FB, and e-commerce "consulting"/done-for-you services.

Hey @DarkInvoker , I'm not trying to be rude, but since are netting probably at least $20k/per month why is your budget for power likes so small and why can't you start paying to other big accounts for shoutouts?
That + some nice giveaway could do wonders for your brand and you could reach your goal in 2-3 months.

Why limit yourself on such a low budget for Instagram?

Most of our budget goes towards FB ads but maybe we should reduce our budget and focus more on IG shoutouts/influencers.

I also haven't had the best experience with shoutouts from viral pages - although we had a few good influencer posts.

Lastly, I only know of 1-2 quality power like vendors - if you can recommend any others, I'm all ears.

Yeah, shoutouts from viral pages are sh*t. At least, that's my own opinion.
You should look for regular "influencers" who have solid engagement on their account.
Send them your product, as most brands do, and specify what exactly you want from them - publish a new picture with your product 2-3 times per month etc.
Don't just look for a people with a lot of followers. Sometimes people with 'only' 4000-5000 followers can bring you more sales than ones with 50k followers.
That way you will get sales and followers.
If you want just followers then pay a smaller amount to those "influencers" than the one they ask you to and let them promote your "new" product (you send the pictures).

What niche are you in?

Sorry, I'm not using power likes personally.
