I'd just like some hard evidence with respects to success rates, give some averages you got a great big old database with $799 packages clients, right?. I like numbers I can work into my business. There's plenty of fish in the sea.

I had a lengthy phone conversation with the OP about the service and got some insight into how the system works. It looks to be a good tool to really get a good foundation derived from your competitors. The system sounds very robust, and given its broad breadth, it has the potential to give site's a nice boost above any single competitor (because it gathers info from a large amount of your competitors).

I have not yet tried the system out, but I will be doing so in a few days. Then I'll be able to give back some more concrete info on the system itself.

Was there any confidential info about the system, that monsterclicks preferred to keep hidden from the public, that made you sense it is a solid one?

There are still a few questions not answered and a coupla contradictions (yes, I read the whole thread)..... It sounds interesting, but I'm afraid this way we might need to wait for results and feedback from first customers.

No, nothing confidential and no new information that isn't available to everyone. It's just that the thread and information, for me, was leaving out some questions that I needed answered and we got to address them over the phone.

First, as an IM and SEO I am always on the lookout for new link building services. If I can even squeeze out a small amount of juice from a new link building service, even if it gets patched, I will give it a try to see if it can add some value - unless it is ridiculously high priced.

The system, as I understand it, scrapes your competitors backlinks (up to a very large amount of URLs, in the millions). It then sifts through all those backlinks looking for the potential to drop a link on that page as well, giving you a backlink from the same page as your competitor (one of them anyway). Given the scope of the operation, the backlinks obtained would comprise a link package that does differentiate itself, based on sheer size alone.

Anyway, like I said, I'll be posting more concrete info when I obtain the package and can run through the system.

@myhatturnedblack - Hey mate . . I am not going to post mine or any client sites here on the thread . . . if a client wants to they are more than welcome.

@Viral - What kind of sucess rate are you talking about . . stick rate . . . SE link index rate . . . SERP ranking sucess?

@sk1ll - Great call with this BHW member. . .Look forward to working with you.

@marieke - it can be used for non english sites . . . no there is no limit to the total URL's you can enter in . . . no limit on keywords.

@mystery - The one area we hit on the sheer magnitude of the system that I don't belive has been previously posted.

Here is some math below to illustrate.

Lets assume 100 customer with 10 keywords each. (however some have hundreds, but for sake of math).

100 * 10 = 1,000 keyword searches.

1,000 * 100 (top google positions) = 100,000 total sites to check backlinks.

100,000 * 1,000 (yahoo backlinks) = 100,000,000 (total sites to search).

Truth is we are searvhing much much more than this alraedy each day every day.

So where are the reviews from the free copies then?

Stick rates would be nice, I like numbers.

Well i've been running this for a little bit now. I only got the 79$ package as I just wanted to try it out and see how well it would do for me. So far I haven't seen one backlink show up. The way I check is through Yahoo Site explorer. but i'm pretty sure i'm just being a little impatient right now and just have to wait for them to start to get indexed and show up etc. I know they said they were working on ways to get the links that stick indexed faster that would be awesome. I'm optimistic but on the edge at the same time regarding this.

There's my honest review. Hope the OP doesn't mind as he asked for honest reviews. but if and when the backlinks start to come through I know for a fact how awesome this program is.

Same here.

Been running Monsterclicks for 9 days. Two different urls, a few different keywords and zero backlinks have shown up.

Hey Guys,

Sorry I have not replied to every ones post. . . .

But here are some updates:

Indexing:

Let me use the analogy of Directory submissions . . . on every domain I start as a general rule I submit it to 1,000 web directory's.

If I submit to 1,000 directories do I expect that I will get 1,000 backlinks? Not really. . . The truth is that on month #1 - I might get 200, and then on month #2 - 400 / etc.

It all depends on search engines spidering the pages where my links are (in particular - Yahoo) since that has become the industry standard for link verification.

This system is going to build backlinks, but because by nature the links are being placed on domains that have a potential for link exploitation . . . indexing will be a bit slower.

We are working on ways to resolve that and for those that are on the inside you now have a "link blaster" tool that we think will help to a degree.

2nd Level Link Verification System:

We have been working on a "spider system" to act as a 2nd level link verifier, but it's more difficult than it sounds.

Right now the system is designed to listen for a HTTP 200 call back (definitions at the bottom).

Now when we implement the spider system here is the problem . . .

Let's say we post a comment and it registers as:

hxxp://blogdomain.com/page1.html

But as you know blog comments scroll into page 2 - 3 - 4 - etc.

So when we go back to page1.html to spider the domain for a 2nd link confirmation often the link is not there.

So now we would need to create an entire bot system to spider each and every URLs (all pages) and then find the anchor text and URL that we also received the HTTP 200 response on.

Stats Page (Show URL):

With the above states, we are going to go ahead and release the stats page, show the URL's and try to resolve a better solution for the "spider" system.

Account Upgrades (Hard Core Testers):

Right now, I would like some hard core beta testers (Customers) of which I will immediately upgrade everyone's account to 100 times their original order so we test the indexing of links on a massive scale.

So if you are a BHW member (customer), PM me or email me your user name and I will give you 100 X links (HTTP request) and then view the data on a large scale.

**Why**

I want to be able to provide the above potential customers with hard core mathematical data of what the rates are on a large scale.

**NOTE - HTTP 200**

We will be releasing soon the URL's of the sites we are posting as we refine the HTTP 200 call back methodology.

HTTP 200 is defined as:

The request has succeeded. The information returned with the response is dependent on the method used in the request, for example:

GET an entity corresponding to the requested resource is sent in the response;

HEAD the entity-header fields corresponding to the requested resource are sent in the response without any message-body;

POST an entity describing or containing the result of the action;

TRACE an entity containing the request message as received by the end server.

Of course, I canceled because you didn't show the links but the next day you do :/

@platinvm - yea, but I told you in| the PM / email (when you asked) that we were adding it in.

Well, that day has come, and the backlinks are finally viewable in our stats area.

What have I concluded?

For one, every single backlink is from a guestbook which indicates that MonsterClicks is nothing more than a glorified Guestbook spammer (no keyword relevance BTW).

Guestbook spamming died 10 years ago, and will have very little effect in boosting your ranking in the SERPS. If anything, I suspect it will cause your website to get sandboxed/deindexed.

Moving on... After checking a few dozen of my supposed backlinks, neither my anchor text nor link was anywhere to be found.

However, now that I know where the backlinks are coming from, the fact that MosnterClicks did not deliver is probably the best thing about this service ;)

Today is Day 10 since I signed up for the $79 monthly package. I will be canceling my subscription ASAP. I see no reason to stay on for the full month. Complete garbage.

Shame, I was interested in this.

@gimmedat - You checked dozens out of thousands? Also we said what the system was doing as quoted below.

"Once the stats page is skinned properly we will be posting the guestbook / blog comments / etc. links for each individual to see."

Also for the URL's not on the links . . . . that was our problem as well on the 2nd layer of verification:

2nd Level Link Verification System:

We have been working on a "spider system" to act as a 2nd level link verifier, but it's more difficult than it sounds.

Always good excuses, it's getting better by the day now reviews are coming in.

First excuus, you know you comments can move to page2 or 3 on a blog and yes he is right there. But if this happens it would mean that your links are probably placed on heavily spammed blogs full of linkspam, do you really want those type of links ?
What about the sales story the top 100 links for your keyword are scanned and links placed in relevant pages.

Same seems to apply for heavily spammed guestbooks where your link goes from page 1 to 100 is a few days.

Don't think anyone has time to check 1000 links so you randomly just take 30 or 50 and check them. Random should give you a good average. If these 50 are not good it's always your fault because the other 950 might be ok, yeah right, more excuses.

Looking forward to see more reviews. The first ones don't seem to be that positive.

@bbob1970 - Answers do not = excuses . . . if you don't like the answers thats another story . . . We have tried our best to illustrate exactly how the system works.

I had to cancel my subscription as I just wasn't seeing any of the links coming through. Sure I coulda been patient and waited another month and get charged another 79$ Or I could just do what I was doing before where links would show up in 1-2 weeks. I was just looking for something more automated Either way. Best of luck to you Monsterclicks.
