My Journey, First Goal: $30/month.

Hi there, I've been here in BHW for a while, just reading and reading through journeys and methods, but never took action. Always saying "I'll try that later", "I can't do this" "this wouldn't work for me". That's why I'm starting this journey, to stop procrastinating and take action now, also as a way to keep track of everything and keep me motivated.

I'm from Venezuela, and right now, our economy is at a pretty bad shape. The monthly salary is 4$ (Yes, it isn't a typo, only $4 a month). I had a boring office job, earning $30 a month, which is a good salary here, but that's not good enough for me, so I quit and that's why my first goal is to make $30+ and then scale.

I can make 3$ -$5 a day with humanatic, but that's slave work and boring, I want something passive and that I enjoy. Since I have some web development knowledge, I liked the idea of creating a Shopify store for dropshipping from AliExpress

Last week I bought a domain, made a custom logo , did some product research, and created the Shopify store using the free trial. Then I spend 10$ in Facebook ads, but with no luck. Maybe bad targeting, or bad products.

I decided to remove all products from the store, and added products that I believe can do better. Now I need select a good audience and start running Facebook ads.

My trial period ends in two weeks, if I can't make any sales then I'll close the store and move on to a different thing.

The salary is that, but the price of the food is higher than the salary. A dinner would be between 4-10 $ for two people depending on the site

Good luck on your journey. $4/month is way too low and I wonder how people survive. Wish to see you reach at least $500/month soon to be able to live a better life.

On a side note, how much budget do you have? FB ads require a lot of testing and you may end up losing money without finding a winning product. Make use of your limited resources in an informed manner.

It's sad to hear that the average salary is $4 but KEEP YOUR HEAD UP ! maybe your goal is only 30 per month but trust me when u get that 30 u will aim for more just never stop learning and taking action u be good!

If dinner costs like 4-10$ then how is someone supposed to go to dinner. I mean like go on fasting for 2.5 months to be able to go to dinner..

Although I don't have much experience in IM but I think if you don't have much money, don't start with dropshipping. Find something cheap to start with like SEO or IG+CPA. (Honesty)
