I want to network with blogs to guest post and get backlinks. Let's say I did my homework so these website are all high quality (low OBL and relevant).

Can I create manually spun articles, distribute them to a low number (5) of blog and get away with 100% HQ guestposts backlinks juice?

I ask to see if I can save on the content creation and get away with it.

Did someone here tried it and survived to tell the tale?

I run 2 websites that accept guest posts, I have encountered people submitting to me manually spun articles, I usually just ignore those offers.
Also, when you say "submit to 5" do you mean submitting the same article 5 times? I've run into that, sometimes after I publish, at which point I delete the article link, add my own content to build up the article, and ignore the submitter after that.

You may get away with it, but if caught, you'll lose any credibility you have. Is it worth it to get people talking about your site negatively?

Personally, when I am reaching out for a guest post, I hire out to one of my better quality go to writers. Think of it this way, I can buy an article for posting on a legit website(spending $25-50) and it is set/forget, or I can build a PBN site, maintain it and spend closer to $300. Which provides the best bang for the buck?

Thanks a lot for your (experienced) feedback. I understand now that my challenge is to find profitable writers.

I say "profitable" because I'm good in content writing (SEO proof), but I want to sell a guest post strategy to my clients. Currently, I'm not productive enough (at my hourly rate). That's why I searched for little cheat. But your reply confirms what I thought. I'll follow your advice and search for content providers.

When you receive a proposition, do you demand the text content only or is it a standard to ask for the images going with it? (do I need to offer a complete service to the blogs I approach).

I ask for all additional items they want to provide, but if providing something, video, infographic, image, PDF, they must certify to me they bought rights(receipt) or it is rights free(link to image). I save that in case I get a DMCA, I'll flip it back on them.
If they don't provide, i source images, infographics, videos.
