About A Month Ago:
Zlatan and I were having a conversation about Amazon Affiliate strategies and Websites. He linked me to an example of a site. I fell in love at first sight. My immediate curiosity demanded that I looked it up on ahrefs. The report proved the site owner was absolutely DOMINATING the niche. I had no idea what the item was, before looking at the site.
There was such a natural flow on that site. It taught what it was, and why it was relevant to everyone. At the same time, it visually showcased the items, and very casually linked to the products on Amazon. I bookmarked it as a shining example of what an affiliate site should look like, and how it should flow. The bar had been set, higher than anything I had ever seen.
At that time, I didn’t know Zlatan had hired a team of developers to reverse engineer that site.
A week later, he contacted me:
“Hey bro, I have a team of developers that I’m working with and we have cracked the code!”
“Ummm… Okay?”
“Bro, the site I showed you. We can easily replicate the visual look. Now I’m going to combine with my low comp keywords and good content. These sites are gonna be amazing! Would you want to have a review copy? Fully built Amazon Affiliate site.”
“Fuck. Yes.”
Yesterday:
“Bro, the site’s ready. Here’s the URL. And the reports.” I was excited to receive that message! At this point, if it was anything close to the site he replicated, I was in for a treat. The following review, is my honest opinion as an exchange for ownership of the site.
Domain
Instead of the typical limitations of exact match or partial match domain names, I was supplied a non-keyword containing expired domain. It had a clean, but small, backlink profile, one of which was a link to a niche relevant tv show and magazine. It was perfect for branding, and had no limitations on niche expansion!
First Impression
Visually, the first thing I noticed, was the usage of gorgeous high resolution images. The color scheme was subtle, minimal, and disarming. Each image was expertly edited with a small banner of text and stars. There were zero difficulties establishing the topic immediately. A review, there is a rating, and it has multiple suggestions.
Speed
The first thing I did, was load up the site. It was fast! Pingdom clocked it at 848ms out of San Jose, CA. I’ll mess around a bit to get it lower than that, but for the quality of images it loaded, the site is blazing fast!
Navigation and Internal Linking
Contains the standard disclaimer pages: privacy policy, terms of service, contact us. Also included, is the link to the single sub-niche. As I move forward, I’ll add my own niches to expand into. Right now, it’s clean and direct. Articles all link to the parent topic article, and each other where natural within the content. Even with the limited size of the review site, there was never a time I felt lost or confused.
Content
In preparation of niche expansion, the group of articles supplied for the review all fell under a small sub-niche. They each targeted similar items, but all complimented each other at the same time. They were just a small sliver inside of an incredibly popular niche. By compartmentalizing, each small sub-niche is intelligently grouped. The effect is easily guiding the reader as they find their way over to Amazon and make a newly informed purchase or hopefully multiple purchases!
As an expensive content writer myself, I was impressed. After proofreading, there were only a handful of sentences that I would have written differently. I decided not to change them, as they were not erroneous. As for length per piece of content, there was not a single article less than 1,200 words. Checking the keywords, none of the articles had keyword density of more than 2%. They were used naturally, and full of LSI keywords as well. As for the difficulty, my ahrefs subscription tells me that nothing was higher than a difficulty of 15. If it were CPA, the minimum click is $3.70. They’re worth some money!
Social Media
Not only did Zlatan and his team sign me up for multiple Web2.0’s under my domain brand, but the social profiles were linked and are live on the site as well. Although they were fresh accounts just out of the gate, they have been set up in IFTTT for auto posting. So far, they have already posted the few articles that were loaded on the site. IFTTT will continue to post social media blurbs and links back to the site, as I post new articles!
Documentation
A zip file that contained numerous documents, within folders. An images folder that contained various sizes of logos, banners, thumbnails, and article images. A text folder that included a keyword report, and a social media account list with names and passwords.
Final Summary
The website is total shit! Don’t buy! I don’t want him busy, so I can have him to myself!!! Mua hahahahaha… Just kidding. Sort of. He’s been able to raise the bar over anything I’ve ever seen offered here on BHW.
Tl;dr:
I am very impressed. He’s fucking crazy for charging so little. This is a next level service that I would be perfectly fine paying $1,000 for this site!
As Zlatan says, “It’s time to Rank and Bank!”
