Hi, this is a bit long and I'm sorry to ask a help on this but I'm frustrated. Hope you guys will help a newbie into IM.

Now, I went to Quora and found a question on how to reduce belly fat and I gave the following answer but it was deleted after 11 hrs stating it violated quora policy. I only put two links during the whole long info. One was a diet recipe from Clickbank and the other was a fat burning guide also from ClickBank. I did NOT link directly to the affiliate sales page. I used a landing page.

So, when people from quora clicks on that link, they will be taken to the landing page and upon entering email they would be taken to the sales page. And I also did NOT use any link shortener. I was using Unbounce landing pages. So, the URL was - http://www.unbouncepages.com/niche-guide that was my URL type on those two links and still the entire article got deleted after 11 hrs.
It took me at least an hour to combine the informations but... :(

Hope you will take a detailed look and tell me what the error was that violated quora's policy after 11 hrs. 2-3 articles from other niches like that got deleted.

The answer that I wrote in that post:
Hello, you don’t need to spend hours and hours in gym OR go hard on diet to lose belly fat. You don’t even need to starve. I understand where you are coming from.
But without controlling and watching what you eat and bit of home exercise, you WON’T lose belly fat but that doesn’t mean doing extreme dieting or exercise.

8 Risks Of Belly Fat:
1. Heart Disease -
People with high levels of belly fat are more susceptible to cardiovascular diseases than people with optimal belly fat levels whether they were overweight or not.

2. Type 2 Diabetes - Excess visceral fat makes one more likely to develop insulin resistance, which in turn can lead to type 2 diabetes.

3. High Blood Pressure - Excess belly fat can result in high blood pressure and blood sugar levels. In addition, it also hikes your triglycerides and lowers good cholesterol.

4. Cancer - Cytokines released by visceral fat tissue can trigger cancerous activity in healthy cells and interfere with other hormones in the body. This means people with excess abdominal fat are more prone to cancers of the breast, kidney, colon, gall bladder, and pancreas.

5. Dementia And Alzheimer’s - Studies have shown that unhealthy amounts of visceral fat can literally shrink our brains and increase our risk for dementia and Alzheimer’s as we get older.

6. Sleep Disorders - High levels of belly fat have been linked to obstructive sleep apnea and related symptoms such as snoring, daytime sleepiness, and fitful sleep.

7. Depression - Scientists have found evidence to suggest that there is a strong correlation between visceral fat levels and depression or depression-like symptoms.

8. Arthritis - Osteoarthritis is more commonly experienced by people with excess abdominal fat. Cytokines and adipokines released by visceral fat tissue can make one more likely to develop not only osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis but also fibromyalgia.

The 20 Effective Tips to Lose Belly Fat -

1. Eat Plenty of Soluble Fiber -
Soluble fiber absorbs water and forms a gel that helps slow down food as it passes through your digestive system.
Studies show this type of fiber promotes weight loss by helping you feel full so you naturally eat less. It may also decrease the amount of calories your body absorbs from food.
What's more, soluble fiber may help fight belly fat. An observational study of over 1100 adults found that for every 10-gram increase in soluble fiber intake, belly fat gain decreased by 3.7% over a 5-year period.
Make an effort to consume high-fiber foods every day. Excellent sources of soluble fiber include flaxseeds, shirataki noodles, Brussels sprouts, avocados, legumes and blackberries.

2. Avoid Foods That Contain Trans Fats -
Trans fats are created by pumping hydrogen into unsaturated fats such as soybean oil.
They're found in some margarines and spreads, and they're also added to some packaged foods.
These fats have been linked to inflammation, heart disease, insulin resistance ###/babdominal fat gain in observational and animal studies.
To help reduce belly fat and protect your health, read ingredient labels carefully and stay away from products that contain trans fats. These are often listed as "partially hydrogenated" fats.

3. Don't Drink Too Much Alcohol -
Alcohol can have health benefits in small amounts, but it is seriously harmful if you drink too much.
Research suggests too much alcohol can also make you gain belly fat.
Observational studies link heavy alcohol consumption with significantly increased risk of central obesity — that is, excess fat storage around the waist.
Cutting back on alcohol may help reduce your waist size. You don't need to give it up altogether if you enjoy it, but limiting the amount you drink in a single day can help.
In a study of more than 2000 people, those who drank alcohol daily but averaged less than one drink per day had less belly fat than those who drank less frequently but consumed more alcohol on the days they did drink.

4. Eat a High-Protein Diet -
Protein is an extremely important nutrient for weight control.
High protein intake increases release of the fullness hormone PYY, which decreases appetite and promotes fullness. Protein also raises your metabolic rate and helps you retain muscle mass during weight loss.
Many observational studies show that people who eat more protein tend to have less abdominal fat than those who eat a lower-protein diet.
Be sure to include a good protein source at every meal, such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy, whey protein or nuts.

5. Reduce Your Stress Levels -
Stress can make you gain belly fat by triggering the adrenal glands to produce cortisol, also known as the "stress hormone."
Research shows high cortisol levels increase appetite and drive abdominal fat storage.
What's more, women who already have a large waist tend to produce more cortisol in response to stress. Increased cortisol further adds to fat gain around the middle.
To help reduce belly fat, engage in pleasurable activities that relieve stress. Practicing yoga or meditation can be effective methods.

6. Don't Eat a Lot of Sugary Foods -
Sugar contains fructose, which has been linked to several chronic diseases when consumed in excess.
These include heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity and fatty liver disease.
Observational studies show a relationship between high sugar intake and increased abdominal fat.
It's important to realize that more than just refined sugar can lead to belly fat gain. Even "healthier" sugars (such as real honey) should be used sparingly.

7. Do Aerobic Exercise (Cardio) -
###b (cardio) is an effective way to improve health and burn calories.
Studies also show it is one of the most effective forms of exercise for reducing belly fat. However, results are mixed regarding whether moderate-intensity or high-intensity exercise is more beneficial.
Regardless of intensity, how often and how much you exercise is important.

8. Cut Back on Carbs, Especially Refined Carbs -
Reducing carb intake can be very beneficial for losing fat, including abdominal fat.
Diets with under 50 grams of carbs per day cause belly fat loss in overweight people, those at risk of type 2 diabetes and women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
You don't have to follow a strict low-carb diet. Some research suggests that simply replacing refined carbs with unprocessed starchy carbs may improve metabolic health and reduce belly fat.

9. Replace Some of Your Cooking Fats With Coconut Oil -
Coconut oil is one of the healthiest fats you can eat.
Studies show that the medium-chain fats in coconut oil may boost metabolism and decrease the amount of fat you store in response to high calorie intake.
Controlled studies suggest it may also lead to abdominal fat loss.
In one study, obese men who took coconut oil daily for 12 weeks lost an average of 1.1 inch (2.86 cm) from their waists without intentionally changing their diets or exercise routines.
To boost belly fat loss, it's best to take about 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of coconut oil per day, which is the amount used in most of the studies reporting good results.
However, keep in mind that coconut oil is still high in calories. Instead of adding extra fat to your diet, replace some of the fats you are already eating with coconut oil.

10. Perform Resistance Training (Lift Weights) -
Resistance training, also known as weight lifting or strength training, is important for preserving and gaining muscle mass.
Based on studies in people with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease, resistance training may also be beneficial for belly fat loss.
In fact, one study in overweight teenagers showed that a combination of strength training and aerobic exercise led to the greatest decrease in visceral fat.

11. Avoid Sugar-Sweetened Beverages -
Sugar-sweetened beverages are loaded with liquid fructose, which can make you gain belly fat.
Studies show that sugary drinks lead to increased fat in the liver. One 10-week study showed significant abdominal fat gain in people who consumed beverages high in fructose.
Sugary beverages appear to be even worse than high-sugar foods. Because your brain doesn't process liquid calories the same way it does solid ones, you're likely to end up consuming too many calories later on and storing them as fat.
To lose belly fat, it's best to completely avoid sugar-sweetened beverages such as soda, punch and sweet tea, as well as alcoholic mixers containing sugar.

12. Get Plenty of Restful Sleep -
Sleep is important for many aspects of health, including your weight. Studies show that people who don't get enough sleep tend to gain more weight, which may include belly fat.
A 16-year study of more than 68,000 women found those who slept less than 5 hours per night were significantly more likely to gain weight than those who slept 7 hours or more per night.
The condition known as sleep apnea, where breathing actually stops intermittently during the night, has also been linked to excess visceral fat.
In addition to sleeping at least 7 hours per night, make sure you're getting sufficient quality sleep.

13. Track Your Food Intake and Exercise -
Many things can help you lose weight and belly fat, but consuming fewer calories than your body needs for weight maintenance is key.
Keeping a food diary or using an online food tracker or app can help you monitor your calorie intake. This strategy has been shown to be beneficial for weight loss.
In addition, food-tracking tools help you see your intake of protein, carbs, fiber and micronutrients. Many also allow you to record your exercise and physical activity.

14. Eat Fatty Fish Every Week -
Fatty fish are incredibly healthy.
They are rich in quality protein and omega-3 fats that protect you from disease.
Some evidence also suggests that these omega-3 fats may help reduce visceral fat.
Studies in adults and children with fatty liver disease show fish oil supplements can significantly reduce liver and abdominal fat.
Aim to get 2-3 servings of fatty fish per week. Good choices include salmon, herring, sardines, mackerel and anchovies.

15. Stop Drinking Fruit Juice -
Although fruit juice provides vitamins and minerals, it's just as high in sugar as soda and other sweetened beverages.
Drinking large amounts may carry the same risk for abdominal fat gain (###a href="http://www.thelancet.com/journals/landia/article/PIIS2213-8587(14)70013-0/abstract">61).
###p
To help reduce excess belly fat, replace fruit juice with water, unsweetened iced tea or sparkling water with a wedge of lemon or lime.

16. Add Apple Cider Vinegar to Your Diet -
Drinking apple cider vinegar has impressive health benefits, including lowering blood sugar levels.
It contains a compound called acetic acid, which has been shown to reduce abdominal fat storage in several animal studies.
In a controlled study of obese men, those who took 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar per day for 12 weeks lost half an inch (1.4 cm) from their waists.
Although no other human studies yet exist, taking 1 to 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar per day is safe for most people and may lead to modest fat loss.

17. Eat Probiotic Foods or Take a Probiotic Supplement -
Probiotics are bacteria found in some foods and supplements. They have all sorts of health benefits, including improved gut health and enhanced immune function.
Researchers have found different types of bacteria play a role in weight regulation, and having the right balance can help with weight loss, including loss of belly fat.
Those shown to reduce belly fat include members of the Lactobacillus family. These include Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus amylovorus and especially Lactobacillus gasseri.
Probiotic supplements typically contain several types of bacteria, so make sure you purchase one that provides one or more of these bacterial strains.

18. Try Intermittent Fasting -
Intermittent fasting has recently become very popular for weight loss.
It is an eating pattern that cycles between periods of eating and periods of fasting.
One popular method involves 24-hour fasts once or twice a week. Another involves fasting every day for 16 hours and eating all your food in an 8 hour period.

19. Drink Green Tea -
Green tea is an exceptionally healthy beverage.
It contains caffeine and the antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), both of which appear to boost metabolism.
EGCG is a catechin, which several studies suggest may be effective for losing belly fat. The effect may be strengthened when green tea consumption is combined with exercise.

20. Change Your Lifestyle and Combine Different Methods -
If you do just one of the items on this list, then it won't have a big effect on its own.
If you want good results, then you need to combine different methods that have been shown to be effective.
Interestingly, many of these are the same things we generally associate with healthy eating and an overall healthy lifestyle.
Therefore, changing your lifestyle for the long-term is the key to losing your belly fat and keeping it off.
When you have healthy habits and eat real food, fat loss tends to follow as a natural side effect.

Quora even deleted my 3 of my answers in other niche and when I contacted them on this they just said it violated quora's policy and I am perfectly allowed to link to an outside source as soon as I put relevant solution. So, please tell me how the above is not a detailed solution?

Any insight on this is very much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hey, sorry I just copied my answer directly. If you mean my answer was deleted for links, there is NOT a single answer in quora that I have seen without any links at the end. And I didnt linked it directly to the sales page... I linked it to the landing page. So, why exactly do you think they deleted my answer that had 98% solution and only 2% link whereas I have seen all other answers from people with little solutions and links doing perfectly well?

It's either competitors reported you, or your profile is pretty new and all you did was promoting links in each of your answers.

Do some "helping" without any links, 3-4 answers, then 1 answer with your link... and so on.

Your wrote this or copy/pasted it?

I've found a near identical answer posted multiple times on Quora.
Copied some from other websites and included my original. Combined it like every other successful marketer does. I'm not a doctor or an expert in weight loss but I know what works as I have went through the exact same phase couple of years ago... so to give a more professional approach and solution, I took some from other sites and combined my own and wrote there.

Yes and Quora being one of the big sites in the world, uses a stupid robot that deletes answers after getting reports. It doesn't even analyze what the report is based on haha.

You've copied best part of 1,800 words (literally word for word) from another answer (https://www.quora.com/Why-is-it-so-much-harder-to-lose-weight-a-second-time) and you're surprised Quora deleted your answer?

I'm not saying you need to be a medical professional, but at least learn how to curate content properly. Failing that, spin the copied content so it appears as original as possible.

Copy/pasting large chunks of text from other answers is a sure way to have Quora moderate your own answers. You do not add any value to their platform by doing this, hence the action they take.

I've had answers deleted from Quora many times. One time they even blocked me from posting and editing content. After a week or so, maybe longer, can't remember how long exactly, I was allowed to post again.

What I eventually did was, every answer of mine Quora deleted, seeing as it's Original content I wrote, I just take it and repost it on my own website. Usually I edit the content a little bit if necessary, find a photo to add to it, and repost it on my website. Works like a charm :)

So the content lives on Quora for as long as it lives. When it gets removed I post it on my website where it's safe and will never be deleted, and the war wages on.

Brother, the guy in that link you posted, literally copied word for word from this site https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/20-tips-to-lose-belly-fat#section1 haha xD. So his writing is not original. No ones are. Everyone copies but Quora bots fail to see that.
But I hope in the upcoming years, technology will improve more. :)

And I think we need to invent some new alphabets and words because practically everyone gives the same advice using same words and alphabets lol.

How does posting to your website helps getting traffic from Quora when your replies get deleted from Quora? I'm a bit confused here.

It doesn't help get traffic from quora. It gives me a way to recycle and reuse the content, it provides me with content for my website, and so gets me traffic from my website (traffic to whatever links I'm trying to promote).

From someone who posts around 50 answers a day on Quora, I can tell you that if you copy the same answers from someone else, you will get moderated.

Do you seriously expect to be able to copy 1,800 words from someone else and for Quora to allow it?

I didn't copy from him. I copied from the website that I linked after quoting you lol. xD
Its funny that he and I both copied exact word after word from that site and his answer was allowed but not mine and it could be because he was the first to copy and paste? :P

You sure you didn't just copy pasted it?

You sure you didn't just copy pasted it?
I copy pasted directly from that health website mate and NOT from that user. That user also copy-pasted from there if you see the words and paragraph but as he did wayyy before me, Quora thinks it's his original and thinks mine is copy pasted. :P

Some questions for you op:

1) How old was the account you used for posting answer ?
2) Does it happen to all your answers or only some ?
3) What reason you see for the answer being collapsed ?

Some questions for you op:

1) How old was the account you used for posting answer ?
2) Does it happen to all your answers or only some ?
3) What reason you see for the answer being collapsed ?

1) Around 2 months old.
2) Nope not all, happened to like 3-4 including this one. I answer many questions. I got 1.71k views, 12 Upvotes, and 2 shares within 1 month or so. I only started using since the last month.
3) Because of the similar word after word content from both me and that guy? He did it first couple of days ago so Quora thinks it's his own original and when I did, Quora thinks I copied, whereas we both copied from the same health website if you see the contents of the site matching with my writing and his. :P
