Hi.

What are good domain metrics to look for when checking expired domains? I have access to Ahrefs, Majestic etc but I don't know what ranges are good.

I don't know what I will do with the domains yet, maybe a PBN. If I find some really good domains I will probably run a proper site on them, but we will see

"Good" range depends on what you use it for.

For majestic only, you want to look a citation flow/trust flow. If the ratio is less than one, it's considered spammy. I would never buy one like that for PBN but of course there are other uses.

So I have found some domains that look decent. Two of them have 5 citation flow but 0 trust flow on Majestic. One of them have 9 UR and 1.2 DR on Ahrefs, and the other one 13 UR and 0.6 DR. They are both at around 50M Ahrefs rank.

Is there anything I can use these for? I can buy them at $5, so why not I guess.

Also found one with 9 trust and 7 citation flow on Majestic, with 11 UR and 1.1 DR on Ahrefs with 48M rank. Damn I know nothing about this, but they are all just as cheap as new domains

You realize that's 9/100 trust flow? Also don't double post, just edit the original.

You realize I asked what good domain metrics are in the main post? Also don’t be rude, just stay calm.

Check out this thread it has all your answers. Consensus is that Trust flow should be at least more than 10 for PBN. For great quaklity, at least more than 20.

So they are bad for PBNs, but are they completely useless?

Even if they are free you still need to register them = $9-10, then pay for hosting, build a PBN which mean another $20, so you are looking for at least $40 for the first year as cost. Well as you will pay $40 anyway, at least pick a decent domains as well.. If you do not know what good domain is, better to buy from decent domain seller. $5 for 2 domains means they are shit. Seriously. You wont find decent expired domains for under $15-20 per piece..

And thats total crap mate. CF/TF ratio is completely irrelevant to the spam of the domain.
