Yes it still works, but you have to be pretty good at targeting. Also it seems facebook is throttling your views to your page unless you're paying for ads. That really sucks, I've been experiencing it and so have a lot of people I know that have built a following on facebook pages. I'll boost an ad and get a shit ton of likes to the page, then once the boost is done, no new likes on regular posts. So either bots or just the reach sucks :/
