Is this a good way to start?

Hey guys

I have been a member of here for a long time and just sat absorbing what I could without getting involved as I was always in the 9-5 and other things. Anyway, story short I thought I would give something a shot as i am out of the rat race now and have time.

I have always believed that for something to be successful you need to have a passion for it as well as the knowledge. Don't know why but i love burgers and bbq so thought that would be a good place to start.

1. I created a Facebook page on this subject and within a couple of months it has grown to 10,000 fans that are engaging with about 500-1000 likes per post (unfortunately not UK, US fans though)
2. I created an instagram account in the same period i have 3,500 fans that are engaged and genuinely like my niche (all through manual ways no bots etc.)

What i want to do
1. Create a site fill it with pictures, videos, recipes, etc. based on this niche
2. Try and drag people to the site through instant articles on FB and through Reddit
3. Set up a T-Shirt shop and market it on FB and Instagram
4. Possibly republish CC Youtube videos and look to monetize them and earn adsense through that (i already have a channel with 24,000 videos in another nice that brings in £200 a month (which i think is exceptionally low but not sure if i can do anything about that)

And this is where i get stuck. What else should i be doing to give this a boost

Just a few things. My budget is very low, i do not have the funds to be spending money on buying links etc.

Any ideas from all the great people in here would be greatly appreciated.

That was back in the good days when i could upload 500 a day, when they reduced it to 50 a day i just left the channel as it was.

wow that is something very much helping you if they are of same niche of the instagram account and fb cause then you can direct the traffic here and there or keep the ogads links etc on them

Unfortunately, the Youtube channel is entirely Hotel videos. They get about 300,000 views a month but just earning through the standard cpc on them at the moment, Tried at one time to use them to get people to another of my sites from them but with almost zero success.

Unfortunately, the Youtube channel is entirely Hotel videos. They get about 300,000 views a month but just earning through the standard cpc on them at the moment, Tried at one time to use them to get people to another of my sites from them but with almost zero success.

People dont like staying to sites of other niche,try making a site of hotels niche there are many things that you sell

I had several spreadsheets with millions of links to hotels on one of the famous booking sites. I then used a macro to open the link and download all the pictures using a firefox plugin. This was on repeat on one laptop. On another laptop i had a macro rename all the pictures from 1-26 and the other pictures deleted. Then those 26 pictures would be put into windows media player video maker (whatever it is called) some standard elevator music was added and saved (by another macro). I would then manually upload all 500 videos each day and tag them. My work was prob 2 hours a day but the laptops were working on auto pilot pretty much 24 hours a day for several months.

AhAhah Nice, But how did you get views fro them? Seeing a bunch of hotels seems preety boring to me :|

The videos are bloody awful! but if you think 24,000 and 300,000 views a month its only 1 view every couple of days per video. It only worked because of the vast qty of videos.

Yep! Especially as i wanted to tag them by country and then by city, island etc.

I am constantly trying to think of new ideas. In my head i am thinking about how i can get income stream 2,3,4 and 5 if i can get some cash out of each one then i am set as gradually ideas will get old and no longer work. This is why i am now looking at the burger idea but lacking inspiration on how to turn it into something that makes some cash.
