I am using scrapebox on Aheadhost VPS.
But after 4-5 days it become lagging and It behaves strangely.... I have asked aheadhost support he said restart your vps every 2-3 days
Whats wrong with it. Which VPS provider dont have such problem.kindly suggest,

well... so basically, if i straighly use expired domain finder plugin, i just need to setting it 5 crawl deep to get all the link..

but right now, i use link extractor to get all internal link from one website.. and i throw the list into expired domain finder with 2 crawl deep.

so what is the best way to scrape it... (which one are the fastest wat to scrape expired domain)?

typically 1-3 connections per proxy.

If its an average or even decent size site, level 5 will probably net you what you want. If its nytimes or wikipedia you won't even get close if you max out the levels in scrapebox.

I mean using the link extractor is kind of over kill, the expired domain finder already does that. I would simplify it and just run multiple expired domain finders and let it do its thing and forget about the link extractor. Simpler is always better for me.

Yes, I run tons of instances of scrapebox, its a great benefit of the way they license things!

Check your spam folder, they are probably replying and your just not getting it.

Well the issue could be 97 different things. I don't even restart my server ever 2-3 months let alone every 2-3 days. ITs a server, its made to have constant uptime. Id say support is just brushing the issue off. That said, Im not sure they could solve it anyway, its not their thing. They just make sure servers are running.

Can you give more details? Does it say not responding or ? Does it ghost white or black? Are you able to move the window around but the count of progress does not increase?

How much memory (RAM) does your VPS have?

What size list are you using and what specifically are you doing?

If I were taking guesses Id guess that you have loaded large list and windows isn't really built with scrapebox in mind. So scrapebox is churning away and asking windows to try and please keep up and windows is too busy to paint the GUI as often as it would like.

What all that means is that scrapebox is probably doing just fine and windows is trying for all its worth to keep up, and all is well and if you leave it it will finish normally - but in the mean time windows can't make the scrapebox gui responsive because its too busy trying to do what scrapebox wants. Great super run on sentence eh? lol

Ultimately your choices are probably just let scrapebox do its thing and wait till its done

OR

work with smaller lists so it finishes faster and doesn't use as much memory

OR

buy a more powerful vps with more cpu and memory

I am actually checking all folders every hour or so because I do lots of things online. Its been 3 days and still no reply at all.

Actually its been more than 3 days. I tried messaging from Conctact us page on scrapebox.com and I tried sending email directly. I also tried sending from my gmail. All messages went through. Even the plugin was activated after I bought it like 4-5 days ago, But no one ever replies to my support requests. The YP plugin is not working and I cant use it. Dont get me wrong I am a happy scrapebox user for like 5+ years. But this situation doesnt look good to me. I really need someone to help me fix YP plugin. I need to work on my project. I have 20 people waiting for data and its not so cool to keep them waiting.

Its going to say they are all valid, because of how those providers respond. I mean I have tested with gmail and yahoo and it just shows 100% valid, but hot mail I didn't test, but its probably the same. They are setup to make it basically impossible to tell if its valid without actually sending an email and then removing bounces. that also won't help with honeypot type addresses either.

I don't know what to tell you in the reply time frame, they reply me in 24 hours or less always and have for years, in fact got replies today from yesterday. But just mail me, i can probably sort your issue

eg. cnn.com/go.php?=example.com

would it detect if example.com is expired?
I have found that it would treat example.com as another level and crawl the links on that domain.

Tried with proxies, without proxies, with vpn, with few target locations, with All locations chosen, with different amount of threads, with different timeout settings, different keywords, tried it in all ways. Scrapebox itself works but not the YP plugin. I will send this to your support email too. I had 20 people waiting for the data to start but I cant keep them waiting longer. Lost enough time. Well the expired domain finder addon can detect if example.com is expired and so can the domain availability checker in the main scrapebox. Can what detect a redirect? The redirect checker can detect a redirect thru a script, generally speaking.

Yes scrapebox uses whois info. Generally speaking its quite accurate, but on occasion there is an exception, also there are a few tlds that just give out the same whois info for all domains regardless of whether or not they are valid or expired or never even registered, so scrapebox won't work with those types of domains.

Yes, same thing. You want to only use 1 expired finder instance per scrapebox instance, but just run 10 scrapebox instances and you can run 10 expired finder instances, for example.
