Hi guys!! I bought scrapebox last 2010 and I was successful with my projects using it :) But I shifted to fb apps so I was not able to use my scrapebox since 2012. Can I still use my scrapebox? Honestly, I don't even have the software in my PC now because I've already upgraded my PC. Can I still use my license?

Yes you can still use, just look into your paypal email for the download link, Install and submit activation details from your current pc, the license will be activated by them.

Well you could crawl all the internal and external the same time.

Or you could just do site:domain.com

on bing and tear thru it and then load up and extract external. Or you could keep doing what your doing. But doing both internal and external at the same time makes sense. Then after each run just remove urls that are not part of the original set of domains and then keep going. By the time you get done, on your last round you will just do external and then your set.

Thanks Matt for your reply and possible alternatives.I was hoping for a check box of "grab ext. too" right in "grab links by crawling a site" . @Sweetfunny can this be done in future updates?
Thanks

Thanks

We added a checkbox "Also external links". When checked, external links found will be saved under the same name/location as internal links, except with the extension .ext.txt. This feature does not work from within the Automator plugin at this time, and will be in the next ScrapeBox update.

You can download scrapebox from here:
http://www.scrapebox.com/payment-received

Unzip it to a folder on your desktop or in your documents folder.

Yes you can use it, its a lifetime license.

I read your question several times and I just don't understand it. Can you give an example? It sounds like maybe you want this:

sry .. cause my english are bad.
what i want to know are similiar with the video above...
i can grab link for one website with it right?
in the video, i can scrape cars.com and get round 1 link from it.
after that i put the round 1 link list into scrapbox harvester and grab another link to get level 2.
and i keep repeating... after i get the entire link on that website right?

the question is, how can i know... that i ald get all the links in the cars.com?
i mean the entire url on cars.com?

Is there addon which could recognize language of the page after you feed it the list of URLs? or at least mark it as "foreign" or rather non-english?

Also is it possible to extract meta tags with Scrapebox. I looked up Google Meta Scraper, but it is not exactly what I need, since I dont want to scrape from googleresults , but from list of URLs instead

No, the above video will crawl, round 1, round 2, round 3 etc.. Scrapebox does all the work for you, up to the number of levels deep you specify. you can do as you describe in a more granular way by using the link extractor

Does that answer your question or no?

No. I mean if you have specific langauges you want to weed out and specific words you could use the page scanner addon, but thats not exactly a cut and dry solution to what you are asking.

I am trying to think of a way to do this with scraping, but I can't think of a way. If I find one Ill post back.

Also is it possible to extract meta tags with Scrapebox. I looked up Google Meta Scraper, but it is not exactly what I need, since I dont want to scrape from googleresults , but from list of URLs instead
Yes, just use the regular meta scraper.

do i need to use link extractor first for finding expired domain...
or i just need to use only expired domain plugin with big crawl depth?

which one is better?

The expired domain finder does 100% of everything for finding expired domains. You do not need to use the link extractor at all.

Bought the expired domain finder plugin and have been waiting hours for the activation email...how long does this normally take?

how can i speed up the expired domain plugin process?
Well if you are using proxies you can increase the threads/connections.

If you are using proxies you can also try not using proxies and just set it to 2-3 connections, as sometimes thats faster.

you can set it to not crawl as deep, typically you will get all the links from most average sites by level 4 or 5 deep. Of course for bigger sites you need to go deeper.

You can run an unlimited number of scrapebox instances, so if you have more then 1 seed url then just startup another instance or two and set each copy off on its own seed list.

what is the number of conection that i can use for 1 proxy???

well... so basically, if i straighly use expired domain finder plugin, i just need to setting it 5 crawl deep to get all the link..

but right now, i use link extractor to get all internal link from one website.. and i throw the list into expired domain finder with 2 crawl deep.

so what is the best way to scrape it... (which one are the fastest wat to scrape expired domain)?

waw... i just know that i can use a lot scrapebox instance..
thanks a lot for the information man!
