So many errors on index checking... Test proxies custom test using info: command -- all check positive. 75% index checking errors. Check proxies again, 100% positive. 75% errors on index checking. A few versions ago the index checking worked great... now it's horrible and I have to re-check like 10+ times to do a full list, even with 100% working, tested proxies. And again... I'm doing a custom test of the info: command and the proxies are passing. Idk what was changed, but it's really frustrating... and I can't roll back to the working version because it was 2-3 versions ago, and SB only saves one previous one.

like 0.000001% of what scrapebox is capable of is posting links, it can do so much more. but yes its safe. In 8 years Ive never heard of a site getting penalized. I mean you can float rankings around, but there would be people making 7 figures a year doing negative SEO if it were that easy, they would just bomb the competition and float to the top naturally. Google would penalize the entire internet in a matter of months and obviously they can't have people running around doing that.

It works for me, so Im not sure. You could try a different approach.

Use the google competition finder, be sure to use BROAD. Do NOT use exact.

For example try this

If it returns a 1 its indexed if it returns a ? or 0 then its not indexed. Try the above and you will see what I mean. There may be something I didn't think of, when using this at scale, but it should work. Its essentially the same concept.

However I will say if a site is like xyz.com but redirects to abc.com and you put that in google, "sometimes" google will show content from abc, because it knows its a redirect, but in fact xyz is not technically indexed because it redirects to abc, and abc is indexed.

Well the index checker knows this, but the competition finder would not know this. But that may be irrelevant for your application.

Hi I am using contact forms poster and worked out it can only post to 2 kinds of form. So I put just these 2 types of urls through the poster and although it seems to work it always returns failed.

I tried posting to my own contact form. It worked as the email came through but it still reported failed?

You would just need to update the

success=

line in the definition files. The platforms must have changed the default success message. So post to your site in your browser, then copy the sucess message like

"thanks for your message"

etc..

then go to
your scrapebox folder \ configuration \ platforms - then edit the wpcontact.ini and wpsecure.in (Whichever of them your site is using ,probably wpcontact on(contact form 7).

And add your success message to that line

success=

just put a | pipe key on the end of whats there and then paste your message in.

Then save and then restart scrapebox and try again.

Also ideally you would do this with scrapebox shut down.

That means something is killing the connections. I did test and its working fine, but that error is a localized error anyway. You can whitelist Scrapebox and the entire scrapebox folder in all security software such as anti-virus, malware checkers and firewalls. Also then you can whitelist in your router.

Take note that disabling security software (such as anti-virus, malware checkers and firewalls) often only stops new rules form forming, but allows existing rules to still fire. So you have to fully whitelist in the security software or uninstall the security software(as a test).

Further some security softwar requires you to whitelist in more then one place before it takes effect.

Also note that disabling a router firewall, does actually fully disable it.

In what specifically? I mean just load those sites in (I don't think Forbes will work, if I recall they make every user click past their ad wall on every single page load). Load in urls and let the expired domain finder crawl the domain.

Fire up separate instances and run each domain in its own instance for faster results. If you use 1-3 connections you can probably get away without proxies and let it idle thru all month long.
This method assumes your using windows, mac architecture only allows for 1 instance at a time

It sounds like something is force closing the socket or some other related issue to that.

Well you could crawl all the internal and external the same time.

Or you could just do site:domain.com

on bing and tear thru it and then load up and extract external. Or you could keep doing what your doing. But doing both internal and external at the same time makes sense. Then after each run just remove urls that are not part of the original set of domains and then keep going. By the time you get done, on your last round you will just do external and then your set.

I think the page scanner addon is what your looking for. You can use multiple words, RegEx and also like the AND operator.
