Scamers ! be aware - Domain Brokers

Recently i got an email ->

so i was curious, because it looks legit... (kinda)
But why would be someone offter a btc for domain?
Anyways, i Reply yes it is still for sale than i got this email ->

Then i go to LINK - google answers and saw it was probably scam, because reply from others are like from book in school of scams.
Also that certificate site was so suspicious that only confirmed my
doubt.
I start google a little bit and find out this is well known scam...

How is this scam u probably wonder?
well they force u to pay 259$ on some 'certificate' on some website (scam) and pay it in Btc,eth,dash,neteller, or western union. All processors where u cannot get your money back.

Don't fall for this, and if u recive similar mail (like that people on forums) just ignore it.

To be honest I'd never read thse emails, let alone reply to them.

I get 2 or 3 a month where someone has found a site of mine, then offer a similar domain. Again I never reply.
Unsolicited offers to buy/sell get reported as spam and trashed.

Keep ignoring them and you'll never get your 5.5 BTC.

That is an interesting twist on an old scam they are using and I bet people fall for that.

I do the same, @MisterF, if someone is offering to buy or sell me a domain out of the blue it goes right into the round file sitting on the floor to the left side of my desk.

I reply only because i go to that Japanese hosting company and saw that info/sales mail look like legit mail.They are so good that they make .info mails with prefix of company...so i was curious what the scheme would be.My domain was on aucc on goddady for 1700$ ,so why would someone offter me 37k....
Also that site and Pay/to earn money is kinda old scheme.
But who knows how many people fall for this.

I regularly receive emails which say my domains need immediate action to keep it live. But I ignore them as they are always on my spam folder.

Promised to pay for the certificate if they sent half the cost of it.

Didn’t work, but was worth a try
