(METHOD) Ranking Pins on Pinterest

imagine pinterest as the google of 2009. Back then stuffing keywords and spamming any backlinks got you to the top. Then google noticed the abused and adjusted. And so will pinterest, eh?

Btw..the beauty of ranking pins through high amounts of repins (can easily do it the legit way as well) - it does have a very immediate effect on your seo game. been able to rank highly competive keywords with it (only works if the content is stellar tho)

I agree, it only really works if the content is good anyway. It's a boost for content that will do well when it has a good foundation behind it.

Make hay while the sun shines.

I just starting pinterest and joinned this forum, and thanks for your nice sharing

Pinterest has the lowest follow back ratio of any site. I'm sad to say that those numbers are normal if you just got started. they will get better over time though.

well...actually I didn't mean that the pin itself is found in search. high repin counts actually lead to higher rankings on google for the page itself. There are probably some direct and some indirect factors involved - my two best-performing pins are both ranking #2 for their keyword. Now while I believe my site is great, they still should have no reason whatsoever to be on that spot.

Probably due to social signals generated, not related to pin numbers.

Hello peeps,

Over the last 6 months I have had quite a few new clients for Pinterest services and one of whom referred 3 other clients so business has been good over the last few months. It has allowed me to pin very large numbers of pins over a consistent period and I have learned a few things that I would love to share with you below. I have pinned close to 200,000 pins across this time for a handful of clients.

I would encourage anyone to get started with this now and in a few months it will really start to pay off. Because of the success I am using the method to promote many of my own products and that of family members. Again there are no ulterior motives in sharing this. I'm not trying to sell anything. just sharing the love with others that can use this info and earn some money from it. this method can be used to sell ecomm products and services. It can be used by someone to promote a recipe or blog post. You name it, if its a pin on Pinterest you can do this to get it to rank at the top.

Thank you for the simple, yet seemingly effective method. Sometimes its the most simple methods that have the biggest impact.
I won't be trying this for anything crazy or looking to monetize from this, but would be a nice way to help rank some of my personal content.

I don't view it as a parasite at all. There are lots of users genuinely searching for pins they like by the second. If you post content related to your niche with the right hashtags, and if they go to top, you'll get plenty of quality organic traffic right from Pinterest. Ranking a site with the help of pins its a bonus.

Yes, I agree. Pinterest is a great resource for people.

Hey guys, new memeber here

Do the image details (right click -> properties -> details) play a role in pinterest rankings?

Is there any differends between pin and repin of main account? When i do repinning pins from my main account with my 4 fakes accs. And when I load pics from my website and create pins and do 90 such pins?

dkv023 me too i'm asking this ; best method is to repins from one account or pins from website

And I dont get it. Do you spam the same domain 90 times per day? I mean different links but the same domain.

Hello peeps,
....
Thanks for your information. I have a few questions if you are willing to share.

1. Do you use thematic descriptions for pins besides the tags?
2. Where do you get the pictures from?
3. Do you change pictures before posting?
4. Do you practice the promotion of your pins with repins from other bots?
5. Do you repin from the site via Pinterest widget or directly download pictures through Pinterest website from the local disk?

One thing I don't understand is how you pin them in the group words?

Example: You have three group boards named 1, 2 and 3 and three accounts named A, B and C.

1: You pin from A into 1, 2 and 3, B into 1, 2 and 3, C into 1, 2 and 3;
2: You pin from A into 1, B into 2 and C into

Also, you pin the same pin (url) from all three accounts into all three boards, or pin three different urls from three different accounts, or pin both, same and different urls from the accounts into each board?

Can you please explain this part.

Thank you.

@vaidavytas Hey man again no hard feelings and I can totally understand your thought process and this post is not directed at you, I'm just referencing part of what you said for the sake of this post.

Not sure where to start with the point I'm trying to make here so it may go one a bit (like most of my posts)

I'm glad I was not called out on being the owner of Etsy when I shared a method for selling on there. I hope not to be called out for being the owner of Poshmark if I share a method for that app in the next few days :)

This app (I wont even say the T word) just so happens to be the app I use. As I said above if I used another one I would probably have been accused of promoting or owning that. If someone tells you there is a good restaurant or movie to go watch it's the same thing but because people perceive there to be no ulterior motive to those things they go un-accused. Because I get sweet fuck all for sharing this method people cant fathom why I would share it without an ulterior motive. To be honest I have to ask myself the same question sometimes but not often. Not only because of accusations but because of genuinely wondering why I would share this info instead of trying to earn from it in some way or keeping it so I can somehow use it just for myslef. We are mostly all IM'ers after all. I shared it because I know it will benefit a lot of the people here and really that's the whole reason, I'm not going to lie and make out there will be no benefit, I'm sure it will wind it's way back to me in some form or another or be the factor that starts a dialogue with someone that could lead to a project or client being acquired down the road for something else. Or if I ask a question some other members here might be more inclined to help me out with their knowledge given I shared some of mine.

Accusations like this from anyone can lead to people not wanting to share their knowledge, methods or opinions. I'm not going to say the accusation above was outrageous because that would be counter intuitive too. I really dont know the best way to deal with a situation like this should people make an accusation in the thread first? Should they message the person with their concerns first? Generally speaking I am also someone that would call people out so I'm not a hypocrite and we all read into things or see things differently and come to our own conclusions. So I can't exactly be surprised or mad at being accused of trying to promote something with any post I make on a forum like this. All I can do is refute any accusations if they are not true. I can't expect someone to read over the hundreds and hundreds of posts in the other threads to have that info first as it's a lot quicker and easier to do the accusing and let the accused do all the work lol.

The reason I am making these points is that I will be sharing quite a few more methods as the weeks and months go on just because I can and it will help people. The Poshmark method I want to share is a fucking duzy and my wife and I are making a lot of money each week doing hardly anything. The type of person that will do well with the method will probably be women aged 20 - 40 who have some spare time on their hands or need a second income or who are stay at home moms. We will literally be creating lots of competitors, there is no other way to slice it than we will be creating competitors and sharing a bunch of valuable info for free that might effect us in the future. But at the same time I cant be in all places at once and I am only getting a tiny fraction of the pie at full capacity so why not share what we are doing and let a ton of other people make a decent living off of it. A lot of people will wonder why or what we will be getting out of it money wise and what my wife and I will be wondering is how many people we have helped create small businesses? How many people have jobs because of us? How many people have rent money or money to pay for some outlandishly expensive medicine because they dont have insurance? I can quantify the tens of thousands of sellers we have properly helped on sites like Etsy and the nearly 2000 shops on there that we have personally worked with and what help that has potentially provided to people all over the world. I can't quantify the millions and millions of views some of the posts, shares, blogs, mentions we have made has done to help the countless people who have read them and we have not earned a dime from them in the vast majority of cases. I would like to think it's a lot though and will continue to do so. We get emails all the time on some of the platforms we are on thanking us, I mean look at the thread above and other threads posted by other people. There are a lot of people who will benefit from this and that's why I shared it. No other reason.

I'm sorry to be a boring fucker but no under cover promotion going on here. Use whatever tools are at your disposal. Try not to concentrate on the tool I use and try to concentrate on the concept of it and use whatever tools you can in order to achieve it.

How and why anyone would think that you're promoting affiliate signups when you never post any affiliate links is beyond me. Or that you're somehow the owner of Tailwind (a million dollar business I'm sure) who just likes spending his free time cruising BHW, pretending to help people in order just to get a tiny percentage of them to actually signup when you'd already be rich in the first place.

I myself personally am extremely grateful for all the information which you have chosen to share with the community and I know I'm not the only one here who feels that way either. I can tell you right now that the Pinterest earning method you shared has been the best method for me I've ever personally tired on BHW and I haven't even come close to maximizing it's true earning potential yet.

I've been using Pinterest for years now and has had some good success with being able to build accounts but was never able to actually make any real money off the platform until you decided to share your method here with the rest of us. So thank you very much for that. I've even PMed you a few times asking you for advice with things and you've never once slipped me an affiliate signup link or even slightly suggested I buy anything at all.

It's funny you mentioned you're wanting to share a Poshmark method because I'm actually very interest in trying to start a Poshmark business and was searching these forums trying to see if anyone had any experience with it and could offer me some advice. I was even considering PMing you to ask if by any chance have you ever had any experience with it and if so would it be worth my time getting into it. So I'll keep my fingers crossed it's still something you intend to share with us in the future.

And thanks again for sharing this method with us too. This is something I will definitely be employing into a few of my own personal projects in the near future. :)

Yes, I agree. Pinterest is a great resource for people.

Yeah this is a great way of doing that. I hope you see some success with it.

Hey guys, new memeber here

Do the image details (right click -> properties -> details) play a role in pinterest rankings?

What part of the details do you mean?

Is there any differends between pin and repin of main account? When i do repinning pins from my main account with my 4 fakes accs. And when I load pics from my website and create pins and do 90 such pins?

Yes there is a difference between pins and repins. I'm sorry but I dont understand the question.

dkv023 me too i'm asking this ; best method is to repins from one account or pins from website

I have had much more luck with making more and more pins rather than just repining one of my own over and over myself. I dont repin pins I have already made. I leave that up to happening organically and just make more pins so the chances of that happening are greater.

And I dont get it. Do you spam the same domain 90 times per day? I mean different links but the same domain.

Spam is a strong word. I am using Pinterest as Pinterest intended. But to answer your question yes the domain is the same i.e etsy.com or ebay.com or poshmark.com but the rest of the link is very different.

1. Nope I dont bother with any of that. I play the numbers game rather than trying to pinpoint things.
2. normally from the product listings or the client.
3. Not sure what you mean.
4. Nope.
5. I use the widget so it seems more real if I am doing it manually but I dont really have to do anything because the app I use does all that for me after I have set them up.

@William702 Excuse me, but I again ask you to pay attention to my questions. Thank you.

Just an FYI I have been moving and my dog has been very sick. So I get to things when I get to them. A LOT of people would think that your comment is pretty rude. I will put it down to a difference in culture or things being lost in text, but don't do it again ;)

One thing I don't understand is how you pin them in the group words?

Example: You have three group boards named 1, 2 and 3 and three accounts named A, B and C.

1: You pin from A into 1, 2 and 3, B into 1, 2 and 3, C into 1, 2 and 3;
2: You pin from A into 1, B into 2 and C into

Also, you pin the same pin (url) from all three accounts into all three boards, or pin three different urls from three different accounts, or pin both, same and different urls from the accounts into each board?

Can you please explain this part.

Thank you.

your first example above and yes they are the same pins set up on all accounts.

he said this but shuffling everything

:)

lol thank you, it's all good. There will always be people like that who assume the wrong thing. My wife and I are actually doing really really well on Poshmark at the moment. She started on there as a whim and to sell some things for her sister in law and when we saw the prices people were getting for things we looked at how to source things at a low cost and found a good formula. Her earnings from that are becoming a large part of our income. I am also testing the water with some imacros I have made that work really well for following and liking. I am looking at doing some growth hacks to divert traffic to offers and aff programs using those imacros by making a few fake accounts with the relevant info and just setting them up on the bots. I do plan on making a method thread but she has not even been doing it a full year yet so I want to make sure I know what I am talking about before offering up my knowledge.

@William702 You said that the pins are the same on all accounts, but do they all point to the same domain? (or are you mixing pins from different clients to different domains, I mean)

@William702 You said that the pins are the same on all accounts, but do they all point to the same domain? (or are you mixing pins from different clients to different domains, I mean)

Yes they all point to the same domain i.e. etsy.com but to different listings so the URL is unique for each listing. Sometimes I mix up pins coming from eBay. Etsy, Poshmark etc.

@William702 Do you also sell 20K or 50K monthly pin packages? Or are there just not enough good group boards to do that?
