How Does One Grow A Soundcloud?

Im looking into growing a soundcloud, currently i am running a twitter with almost 1k followers non of this is automated atm. I'd be willing to start instagram but how would i go upon this for promoting soundclouds? Do you guys think it would be benificial to pay for Instagram shoutouts for just the soundcloud or work on growing a instagram to help grow the soundcloud.
