YouTube killing small channels

If i am you, i would prefer getting the initial some subscribers and watch time via Adwords. Yes it is a little more expensive then buying the fake views but Adwords and Youtube goes well together.

I don't need views. Just subscribers. Could look into trying to get some via AdWords but ultimately I think that would just be throwing money down the drain.

Getting rid of low hanging fruit from normal adsence adverts ....

Very strange ....

In business it about promoting being seen even buy the little guys , very strange any advert business taking away low hanging fruit ...

Makes no sense , adsence losing millions

I wonder if the advertisers have steeped in on this ....

I no that since facebook doing video that advertisers run from youtube so I am guessing advertisers have had serious chats with youtube or youtube advertising going bust ....

I thought i would try this, created a couple of looped videos an uploaded them as and within an hour i had 2 strikes on my account for content violations for repetitive content which is something i did not know they even checked for. So if your going to to upload a long video make sure your video isn't a loop or else you may end up with strikes like me. I now can't upload for 2 week which means i will have to find other ways of building up the video views before the deadline.
My thought for creating a long video that isn't a loop and therefore not repeating for next time is to point the webcam out of the window on to the street as even though it is a static scene there is enough movement from people and cars to mean the video will be unique all the way though.

I managed to get the two strikes removed from my account by appealing the strikes. I received no official notification that the appeal was successful but the videos are both back and I can now upload to my channel again.

Strange. I run a channel which is in the looping business and have had no issues. Not heard of anyone having problems due to looped content either.

Not permanently. You can reapply after reaching the new requirements. The review is at least partially manual though, so panic if you think you're likely to be rejected.

Does anyone know of any good gigs on Seoclerks, fiverr etc to get views of 30 minute or longer per video? I have a few long videos over 1 hr+ that i want to pay for views on but most 'high retention' views are only 2 - 3 minutes, so you need to send a lot more views to get the same amount of view time.
I am viewing them myself from my VPS but for some reason the browser seems to crash if i try to open multiple tabs, so i am stuck with just being able to view in one tab.

They don't terminate your account but they just cease the monetisation. If your channel is small enough I don't think you are making a lot of money from this. Rather you should focus on creating quality content and marketing that content. Best of luck hope you will soon have your 1K subscribers.

Not really. I have a very small channel. Maybe 100 subs and I hardly ever post videos. I average about 100 watched minutes per day. So 700 minutes per day doesn't seem unfeasible for channels with 1000 subs that post more content.
