How To Build Forum Community ?

Hello guys,

I have a website.. It is a forum... what is the best way to convert users ? what makes forums successful ? How can i get members to join ?

Currently i'm using instagram for Advertisement and it's not doing that much. Thinking about lunching YouTube videos as well.

But i'm not sure maybe you guys have some ideas or tips how i can grow the forum community.

It's in cryptocurrency niche where users can discuss about cryptocurrencies.

Starting a forum on blackhat now would be extremely difficult to grow it unless you are someone of note in the community or have a authority site to funnel from. Are you someone of note in the crypto community does your name and reputation draw people to discussion?

you could always do keyword research on keywords and longtails for crypto forums "crypto currency forum" "crypto currency discussion boards" and optimize for that
